【Genesis 7:21,22 李杜圣经札记】

21 凡在地上有血肉的动物，就是飞鸟，牲畜，走兽，和爬在地上的昆虫，以及所有的人都死了。 

22 凡在旱地上，鼻孔有气息的生灵都死了。 

ERV：

21-22 Every living thing on earth died—every man and woman, every bird, and every kind of animal. All the many kinds of animals and all the things that crawl on the ground died. 

Every living, breathing thing on dry land died.

NIV:

21 Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. 

22 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. 

点评：

从这三个版本来看，中译《圣经》以及NIV版本皆忠实希伯来原文。ERV版本属于意译，但读起来顺畅，适合英语初学者。

在语言表现上，NIV里的一些词汇，如perish，swarm over等等，更为丰富，文学性更强。

这两句中译，我喜欢文理本《圣经》的文言：

21地上众生、飞鸟、六畜、百兽、昆虫、以及人类、尽皆灭亡、

22凡在陆地、有鼻可通呼吸者、咸就沦丧、

好个“尽皆灭亡”，“咸就沦丧”。

今天这两句，叙述千万生物的灭亡，读来如历史。沉静，客观，不着悲喜。在新约《路加福音》17章27句，我们却能窥见一点实情：

“人们继续吃、喝、嫁、娶，直到挪亚进方舟的那一天，洪水到来，把一切都毁灭了。”

这才是人类的真实写照。末日来临之时，醉生梦死，浑然不觉。
