14 他们和百兽，各从其类。一切牲畜，各从其类。爬在地上的昆虫，各从其类。一切禽鸟，各从其类。都进入方舟。 

15 凡有血肉，有气息的活物，都一对一对地到挪亚那里，进入方舟。

NIV:

14 They had with them every wild animal according to its kind, all livestock according to their kinds, every creature that moves along the ground according to its kind and every bird according to its kind, everything with wings. 

15 Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark.  

ERV:

14 They and every kind of animal on the earth were in the boat. Every kind of cattle, every kind of animal that crawls on the earth, and every kind of bird were in the boat. 

15 All these animals went into the boat with Noah. 

点评：

我喜欢和合本中文译文的雅致，简洁，短促，尤其那句“各从其类”。（近年来，学者冯象致力于重译圣经，我觉得毫无必要。）

两个英译版本里，浅显的ERV版本更通顺。NIV的译文显得滞重，可能为了忠于希伯来原文。according to, 与中译“各从其类”的“从”，居然天衣无缝，殊途同归。

不过，忠于原文，语意更为精确。比如NIV的第14句，最后强调“everything with wings”。进入方舟的，除了鸟类，还有蝙蝠，以及各种有翅膀的昆虫。而ERV译文只提及鸟类。

中文谚语道：百年修得同船渡。在《圣经》里，人类和动物是千年同船渡。

方舟的的时候，各类动物鱼贯而入。紧随人类其后的，一定是猫、狗这哼哈二将。
