Diese Geschichte spielt in Paris, im Herbst des Jahres 1680. Eines Tages klopfte es um Mitternacht laut an der Tür eines Hauses in der Straßte St. Honore. In diesem Haus wohnte Madeleine von Scuderi. Sie war eine bekannte Dichterin am Hofe Königs Ludwig XIV. Im Jahr 1680 war sie allerdings schon eine alte Dame von 73 Jahren. Das Klopfen war sehr laut. Man knonnte es im ganzen Haus hören. Der Diener Baptiste war am Morgen mit Elaubnis des Fräleins zu seiner Familie aufs Land gefahren. Die Dienerin, Frau Kartiniere, und das Fräulein von Scuderi waren allein zu Haus. Als die Dienerin die donnernden Schläge an der Tür hörte, fürchtete sie sich. Sie dachte an die vielen Verbrechen, die täglich in Paris geschahen. So blieb Sie ängstlich in ihrem Zimmer und wollte nicht öffnen. Das Klopfen wurde aber immer heftiger, und nunhörte man auch eine Stimme: “Machen Sie auf! Ich hitte Sie sehr, machen Sie doch endlich auf.” Schließlich nahm Frau Maritiniere ein Licht und ging hinunter. Sie konnte die Stimme nun ganz deutlich hören: “Oh bitte, machen Sie doch auf!”

This story was happened in paris in the autumn of the year 1680. One day there was a knock at the door at midnight, this house situated in the Holy Street Honore. In this house lived Miss Madeleine von Scuderi, who was a famous poet in the court of King Louis XIV. In the year 1680, however, she was already an old lady of 73 years. The knocking was very loud, you could hear it around the house. The servant Baptiste went to his home in the country with permission of the Fräleins. The maid Mrs Martiniere and Miss Madeleine von Scuderi were at home. When the maid heard the powerful blows at the door she was terobally afraid. She thought of many crimes which occurred everyday in Paris, so she remained timidly in her room and didn't want to open the door. The knocking became more and more intense, and she heard a cry: "Come on! I bag you, please open the door! "Finally, Mrs Martiniere took a candle and went downstairs. She could now hear the voice clearly: "Oh please, please open the door!"

这个故事发生在巴黎，时间是1680年秋天。一天深夜，有人大声地在敲圣.奥诺雷街上一幢房屋的门。住在这幢房子里的是斯居戴里小姐。她是国王路易十四宫廷里的一位老诗人。1680年她确实已是一位七十三岁的老妇人了。

门敲得很响，整装房子都能听到。男仆巴蒂斯特得到小姐许可，早晨回他乡下家里去了。只有女仆马蒂尼埃尔大妈和斯居戴里小姐在家。女仆听到砰砰的敲门声，心里十分害怕。她想到每天在巴黎发生的许多起案件。因此，她心惊胆战地呆在自己的房间里，不愿意去开门。可是敲门声越来越急，而且还听到一个声音：“请你开开门！我恳切地请求你，无论如何请你开开门吧！”马蒂尼埃尔大妈终于拿过蜡烛，走下楼来。现在她可以十分清楚地听到这呼喊声： “哦,无论如何请你开开门吧！”
