This world is indeed getting more and more crowded. China is even more so. In the old time, there was little choices in terms of getting around. Slow train was the best way or the only way. Now we have bullet trains and private cars. So when the speed could not be achieved when we wanted this causes great frustrations.

So being afraid of getting trapped in traffic, in parking lot, in mountain trails, in ticketing lines, I decided to voluntarily be trapped at home by myself. This is the best way to be trapped no matter how much I long for a vacation getaway.

How pathetic now come to think of a Chinese people taking vacations? If I were a regular worker making the average incomes I would have been trapped in one of those crowds. No matter how much I loath it, I have to do it if my family deserves a hard-to-come-by vacation.

Now this holidy, how silly it is called "national holiday"! What a generic name! But what else shall we call it? Independance day? we were not totally colonized. Liberations day maybe a better name.
