    课时目标

    1．学会表达自己的喜好，如：like, love, prefer, dislike...等。

    2．学习that和who引导的宾语从句，并能正确地运用它们。

    课程导入

    音乐是我们生活中的一个重要组成部分，它给我们带来快乐。我们每个人都有自己喜欢的音乐，下面是Ann和Maria在电话中交谈有关她们所喜欢的音乐。

 

    Maria: Hello, Ann!

    Ann: Hello. Maria, I have just listened to the music that has great lyrics.Would you like to listen?

    Maria: Of course. I like music that I can sing along with.

    Ann: That is it. Tomorrow I’ll take it to you.

    Maria: Thank you. Bye!

    Ann: OK, See you tomorrow.

    1a  What kind of music do you like? Look at the picture andthe sentences you agree with.Then write your own sentence.  你喜欢什么类型的音乐？看图，圈出你认同的句子，然后写出你自己的句子。

    知识点1  I prefer music that has grest lyrics.  我更喜欢有好歌词的音乐。

    【讲解】prefer动词“宁愿，更喜欢”，prefer后可接名词，ving，to＋v.等形式，常见形式有：

prefer 

【例1】单项选择

    He said he preferred______in the country to______in the city.

 【解答】prefer doing to doing结构，表示“宁愿……而不愿……”，prefer和to后均跟ving形式，故选D。

    知识点2  I love music that I can sing along with.  我喜欢我能跟着唱的音乐。

    【讲解】that是关系代词，引导定语从句修饰先行词music, that在从句中作介词短语along with的宾语，with不能省掉。

    【例2】改错

    He likes music that he can dance.

       A       B    C            D

    【解答】关系代词that在定语从句中作宾语指代music，这里指跟着跳舞的音乐，故D项中dance后面的介词to不能省掉。

    归纳延伸：

    1．在复合句中，修饰名词、名词词组或代词，起定语作用的从句叫定语从句，引导定语从句的词叫关系词。如：that, which, who, whom, whose 等为关系代词，when, where, why等为关系副词，被定语从句所修饰的名词、代词叫先行词。

    2．如果先行词是表示人的名词或代词，关系词应用who或that；如果先行词是表示物的名词或代词时，则用that或which。如：

    ①Do you know the boy   who   is playing the guitar?

                   先行词  关系词     定语从句

    你认识那个在弹吉他的男孩吗？（who指代人，在定语从句中作主语）

    ②He likes  music    that     he can sing along with.

                先行词   关系词       定语从句

    他喜欢他能跟着唱的音乐。（that指代物，在定语从句中作宾语）

    注意：当关系代词在定语从句中作主语时，不可以省去，但作宾语时，可以省掉。如：

    ①Garmen likes musicians who play different kinds of music.  卡曼喜欢弹奏各种不同乐曲的音乐家。（who在定语从句中作主语，不能省掉）

    ②Here is the book（that）you are looking for.  这是你正在找的那本书。（that在定语从句中作宾语，可以省掉）

    1b  Listen.Check（√）the kinds of music Tony and Betty like. 听录音，用（√）号标出托尼和贝蒂喜欢的音乐。

    2a  Listen and“T”（for true）or“F”（for false）.听，对的圈“T”，错的圈“F”。

    Boy:Look, Carmen. These T—shirts are great! Look at this one.

    Girl: What a great T—shirt, Xu Fei. I really love Dan Dervish. I like musicians who play different kinds of music.

    Boy: Hmmmm... he’s okay...

    Girl:He’s only okay?! You must be joking.

    Boy:Well... I like musicians who write their own songs. Dan Dervish doesn’t write his own music.

    Girl:Hmm. Well, I think he’s great.

    Boy:The Modern’s T—shirt is interesting.

    Girl:The Modern are really great. I love music that’s really loud and energetic.

    Boy: I know you do... but I prefer groups that play quiet and gentle songs.

    知识点3  Carmen likes musicians who play different kinds of music.  卡门喜欢会弹奏不同种类音乐的音乐家。

    【讲解】（1）关系代词who在从句中作主语，指代musicians，因此从句中的谓语动词为play，而不能用第三人称单数形式。

    （2）当关系代词在定语从句中作主语时，从句谓语动词必须与先行词保持人称和数的一致。如：

    The most successful man in life is the man who has the best friend. 生活中最成功的人是获得最佳信息的人。

    【例3】单项选择

    Tom is one of the boys______from the USA.

A．who is

B．whom is

C．who are

D．who comes

    【解答】关系代词在定语从句中作主语，所以不用whom，该句的先行词为boys，所以从句中的谓语动词应与boys保持一致，故选C。

    2b Listen again and complete the sentences.重新听遍录音，完成下列句子。

    知识点4  What do you dislike about this CD? 关于这个CD你有什么不喜欢的？

    【讲解】dislike为动词，意为“不喜欢，讨厌”，反义词为like（喜欢），同义词为hate，后接doing或者to do，而unlike为介词，意为“不像”，反义词为like（与……相像）。如：

    （1）He dislikes listening to the music that’s too loud. 他不喜欢听声音大的音乐。

    （2）The twins are unlike. 这两个双胞胎长得不像。

    【例4】单项选择

    John is______his father.

    【解答】be unlike意为“与……不相像”，而dislike，hate，love均为动词，不可与be连用，故选择D。

    知识点5  The music reminds me of Brazilian dance music. 这音乐让我想起了巴西舞曲。

    【讲解】remind动词，意为“提醒（某人）注意某事或做某事”，词组remind sb.of sth.意为“提醒某人某事，使某人想起某事”。如：

    （1）Remind me to answer that letter. 提醒我回复那封信。

    （2）That old house reminds me of my childhood. 那座老房子使我想起了我的童年。

    【解答】remind sb. of sth.提醒某人某事，remind与介词of搭配，故选择A。

    3b  PAIRWORK

    Talk with your partner about a CD you listened to recently. Ask and answer the questions in activity 3a. 与同伴谈一谈你最近听过的一张CD。提问并回答活动3a中的问题。

    知识点6  I listened to one called Heart Strings. 我听了一张叫做《心弦》的CD。

    【讲解】（1）listen to...强调“听”的动作过程，而hear则强调“听”的结果。如

    ①We are listening to the teacher. 我们正在听老师讲课。

    ②Can you hear anything? 你听见什么了吗？

    （2）called过去分词，作后置定语，相当于named，意为“被称为”、“被叫做”。如：

    I have a cat called Mimi.我有一只叫咪咪的猫。

    【解答】listen为不及物动词，指“听……”常接介词to；called为过去分词，作song的定语，故选择B。

    4  PAIRWORK

    Complete this survey.Then find classmates who agree with you. 完成这个调查表，然后找出同意你的观点的同学。

    学习策略:

    这个活动主要是根据所提供的语言材料进行听、说、读、写训练。

    （1）首先写出自己的观点。如：

     I like groups that have new style hair. 我喜欢有新式发型的乐队。

    （2）把自己的观点告诉/读给同学们听，然后询问What’s your favorite group? 你最喜欢的乐队是什么？看谁与你有相同的看法。

    （3）写下相同观点的同学的名字，直到把表格填完。
