澳门十六浦索菲特大酒店以十六号码头作中心向两旁延伸，楼高二十层，设有408间客房，每间客房内均设索菲特MyBed；配套设施包括餐厅、酒吧、游泳池、会议室及一面积为460平方米之多功能厅。酒店附设索菲特会所及特别为贵宾而设的十九所濠庭十六浦。

这座簇新的建筑物保留了十六号码头的标志 - 古老钟楼，地面则新铺葡式鹅卵石。酒店位于钟楼的右翼，按十六浦第二及三期的发展计划，钟楼的左翼将有餐厅、商店、剧院及更多娱乐设施，海傍亦将设露天表演场地。

酒店毗邻澳门世界遗产历史城区，亦是繁华闹市。酒店门外，便是澳门市中心最著名的街道“新马路” ，连接各文化历史遗产与旅游景点，包括大三巴牌坊、旧城墙、玫块堂、大炮台等。

酒店总经理瑞邦表示，索菲特将会是澳门一家很独特的奢华酒店，它在历史城区中突显时尚。“很多旅客因澳门的浓厚中西文化与历史遗产而慕名前来，同时亦需要一家时尚的五星级酒店及配套，索菲特自然对号入座。”

Sofitel Macau is set to become one of Macau’s most prestigious deluxe hotels. Built around the remaining façade of Pier 16, the 20-storey Sofitel Macau has 408 rooms (all with Sofitel’s renowned ‘MyBed’), Mistral restaurant and Rendezvous the lobby lounge, swimming pool, business centre and a 460 sqm multi-function banquet room plus additional meeting rooms. The hotel will also have Club Sofitel floors as well as The Mansion at Sofitel designed especially for the casino’s high rollers.

The development echoes the Inner Harbour’s heritage, and protects landmarks such as the Old Clock Tower, the focal point of the project. Sofitel Macau is located on the right side of the Clock Tower, while the left side houses the casino complex, which is planned to include retail shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities. Cobblestone streets connect the different sectors of the project site, a promenade will be built along the Ponte 16 waterfront to provide a venue for outdoor performances and other recreational activities.

Sofitel Macau is within walking distance to the ‘Historic Centre of Macau’, a World Heritage Site enlisted by UNESCO and a living representation of the city’s original settlement. The area is characterised by a myriad of narrow laneways and piazzas, which provide a link to over 20 historical monuments, including the Ruins of St. Paul’s, sections of the Old City Walls and the Mount Fortress.
