世界上第一家海底五星级酒店开业
World’s First 5-Star Hotel Under the
Sea—Poseidon Undersea Resort
World’s very first 5-star underwater hotel has opened under the
sea off Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas. Poseidon Undersea Resort,
conceived and developed by L. Bruce Jones, is linked to land
through a tunnel with escalators, which allow guests get in without
the nuisance of a wet suit. Poseidon features 22 luxurious rooms
and two suites, with a full range of facilities which will turn the
wildest imaginations into reality. Feast your eyes on the corals,
gigantic marine turtles, tropical fishes, sharks (if you’re lucky
enough) and any other species of the sea life that happen to pass
the window of your underwater abode.
Jones has invested USD40 million to build the luxury underwater
resort. To enjoy the fantastic world under the sea is a dream
shared by all, according to the American. Staying for a night will
cost you a sky-high USD85,000, but the designer says “It’s well
worth the money.” Jones’ dream project seems easier to come true,
compared with the ultralux complex of 220 guest rooms plus disco
and music hall, whose construction was announced by the United Arab
Emirates just recently.
