The benefit
performance and auction fund raise for Sichuan Earthquake Disaster
Area
On May 12, 2008, 8 magnitudes of earthquakes had annexed and destroyed the Sichuan Wenchuan area. 69146 people died, 290,000 people injured and at least 5,000,000 people homeless. For the rescue effort in the disaster area, the China Media, the Portland Chinese Friendship Association, the Chinese American Federation, the Oregon Chinese Artist Association proposed to hold the benefit performance and the auction fund raise on June 15, 2008 from 1:00-4:00 pm in Lijing Restaurant. We invite all individuals/associations/group to participate and organize the event jointly and to attend the benefit performance and contribute auction items.

2008年5月12日，一场8级大地震顷刻间吞灭了四川汶川地区69146 生命，二十九万人受伤，至少500万人无家可归。为救 助灾区人民，由侨声报、波特兰中国联谊会, 华人联合会, 俄勒冈中国艺术家协会倡议的义演及拍卖筹款活动将于6月15日下午1:00-4:00在丽晶酒家举办。我们诚挚邀请各团体积极协办及参加义演并且欢迎捐出拍卖品。尽己所能，尽己所力！让我们共同携手帮助灾区度过难关！
