煤矿老城要旧貌换新颜

最近，有个机会到淮北转了一下，时间很短，匆匆忙忙，也没有能细细观察。但是，就所能看到的情况，感觉安徽北部的这个老工业基地，老城区、矿区面貌比较破旧。虽然这个城市的包袱还是挺沉重的，但是，也有从人们的情绪看，还是都有一股子要努力奋斗的精神。

淮北人都在主动想办法解决问题，谋求出路，对信息也是比较敏感，这点也是令人感动，他们发挥当地优势，因地制宜，将原来的煤矿塌陷区，规划成湖面，修建旅游设施。积极采取各种措施，引进资金，发展文化旅游产业。同时，他们有意，利用国有煤矿设施完整、结构健全、人员素质高等特点，积极拓展建设医养结合型的养老机构，据介绍，淮北地区分散有16家煤，每个煤矿都有一家2级医院，覆盖4—6万人口，目前医院设施设备和人员闲置情况比较突出。

总起来看，淮北起步较晚，后发优势明显。
