我昨天到菲律宾亚太大学开会，一进校园，发现满眼望去都是女生。校园里有无线上网信号，一些小女生一边吃东西，一边抱着电脑上网。偶尔看到一对男女学生一起走，每人却拿着手机在发短信息，总不是给对方在发吧？据说大学中女生比例占到60-70%，可以想象将来菲律宾是女人的天下。

话说我在这所大学开的那个会，9点钟开始，10点钟就break吃东西，称为merienda，据菲律宾朋友说当地人一天吃五顿，据说是西班牙人留下的好传统。旁边一位菲律宾女孩还自豪地说：虽然吃得多，可是我们菲律宾人不会发胖。另一个美国人也说，来了菲律宾5年，和菲律宾人一样的吃法，可是体重还下降了，估计是牛排、汉堡吃得少了。我补充说，还少喝了许多可乐吧。

我没有吃merienda，信步走到校园里。在公告栏看到着装规定Dress Code，女生的要求如下（翻译仅供参考）

• No décolletage. （不得袒胸露肩）
• Hemline on skirts must cover the knees. （裙子下摆过膝）
• Shirts, blouses, and top-wear must cover the waist area at all times. All shirts and top-wear must have sleeves. （上衣要盖腰部，长袖）
• Fabric should not be sheer or flimsy. （衣物质地不得过薄、透明）
• Fit should be loose, not body-hugging. and/or graphics. （宽松，不得紧身）
• Design must not include foul language and/ or graphics. （设计不得包含下流语言、图案）
• Students may wear footwear of choice except slippers and slipper-like sandals. （不许穿拖鞋或类似拖鞋的凉鞋）

对男生的要求是：

• Shirts must cover the torso at all times. （上衣必须永远遮盖上身）
• Shirts must have sleeves. （长袖）
• Pants must reach the ankle. （裤脚到脚腕）
• Design must not include foul language （设计不得包含下流语言、图案）
• Fabric of clothing must not be sheer or flimsy. （衣物质地不得过薄、透明）
• Fit should be loose, not body-hugging. （宽松，不得紧身）
• Students may wear footwear of choice except rubber and/or bedroom slippers. （不许穿拖鞋或类似拖鞋的凉鞋）
