Mandarin Chinese Teacher, Marlborough, MA

Marlborough High School is looking for an experienced professional instructor to join our established and growing Mandarin program. The 2010-2011 academic year appointment is for a .8 position which supports medical and dental benefits, and the opportunity for sustained career development. 

Minimum qualifications include

• BA, BS or equivalent
• Near native ability in spoken and written English
• Native or near-native spoken Mandarin proficiency
• Literacy in both Simplified and Traditional characters
• Two years teaching Mandarin as a foreign language to North American youth

Preference will be given to native Mandarin speakers who are currently licensed to teach in Massachusetts, or who are in the process of gaining certification.
