趋磁螺细菌是Magnetospirillum属的微生物,原产地为日本。螺旋状,G,微好氧,端生鞭毛。能利用α酮戊二酸、琥珀酸、延胡索酸、苹果酸、草酰乙酸、丙酮酸、乳酸、醋酸盐、丙酸盐、丁酸盐作为碳源,利用硝酸盐作为氮源。主要用途为研究,具体用途为生产磁小体。
