整体设计思路

本节课通过看、听、说、采访和表演等一系列教学活动，使学生掌握最基本的英语听说能力, 并在教学中充分激发学生强烈的求知欲望，在注重学生语言表达能力发展的同时，特别强调学生人格的发展和思维的发展。 

教学背景  

1. 教材分析：

本节课讲授的是仁爱版教材八年级英语（上册）Unit3 Topic1 SectionA第二课时。这一单元描述hobbies，每个话题都是与学生日常生活中的爱好息息相关的内容。通过谈论彼此的兴趣爱好，既学到了知识，又加深了师生之间的感情。本节课，我主要从学生的听力训练、学习兴趣、生活经验和学生的认知水平出发，倡导参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径，发展学生的综合语言运用能力。  

2. 学情分析：  

从新课标的理念出发，贯彻面向全体学生，以学生的终身发展为本的指导思想。对原教材内容重新加以处理。力求对教学过程精心设计，全方位调动学生学习英语的积极性，培养他们的综合语言运用能力。

我主要运用任务型教学法，从听说读写四方面设计教学任务，由浅入深，层层深入地开展教学活动，教会学生听力的技巧，如何收集和处理信息，提高听说读写的能力，让学生通过各个环节的体验，体会到成功的喜悦，调动学生学习的积极性，激发他们的学习热情。 

Teaching aims:

1.Knowledge aims

1.能根据音标正确拼读并运用新单词，如：hobby,poem,plant，fond等。

2.能听懂2的对话并完成学习任务。  

3.能掌握对话里的重点短语和句型，并初步能运用此话题和别人进行共同交流。 

2.Skill aims

能够就爱好话题和别人进行简单的沟通。学生能够借助不同的句型和句子结构来表达相同的意思，这样有助于口语和书面表达的灵活性和多样性。  

3.Emotional aims

学生能够意识到健康的爱好对我们的重要性，生活中要培养有益于学习和身体健康的爱好和兴趣，懂得热爱生活。

 

Key points and difficult points:

1.Key points：

（1）掌握本节课的单词，短语及重点句型: collect stamps, walk a pet dog, recite poems, plant flowers. What’s your hobby?及like/enjoy/prefer/be fond of /be interested in doing句型。

（2）能听懂、理解对话内容。能就爱好一话题和别人进行

简单的沟通和交流。   

2.Difficult points:

（1）be fond of/be interested in其后动词要用V-ing形式。

（2）引导学生认识有益于学习和身体健康的兴趣爱好，并

在日常生活中得以培养。 

 

Teaching procedures:

Stage1 Getting students ready for learning        

Step1  Greet to all students. 

Step2  Warm-up

T: Boys and girls, let’s sing a chant. Do with me.

Step3  Show the learning aims.

 

Stage2 Pre-listening 

Step1. Learn the new words and phrases.

Step2. (1) Show the pictures of new phrases. Learn the new phrases.

(2) Sum up the hobbies.Read louder and louder.

Step3. (1) Review the sentences “What’s your hobby ?

I like/love doing ”

(2)Show a picture in SectionA about WenWei to review         the structures of enjoy/like doing sth.     

(3)Show a picture in SectionA about Helen to review 

the structures of love/prefer doing sth.      

Step4. A guessing game:" What is Miss Qu's hobby?" Lead in the new structures of be interested in/be fond of doing sth.   

Step5. Drill the new structures of be interested in/be fond of 

doing sth.

 

Stage3 While-listening (Section A 2) 

Step1. Show the picture in 2 to guide the students to predict the 

listening.

Step2. Play the recording of 2.Let the students listenand 

complete the sentences.       

Step3. Play the recording of 2 again, and check the answers. let the students read after the tape, and then sum up the key points.

Step4.Consolidate the key points :like/love/enjoy/prefer/

be interested in/be fond of doing sth. 

 

Stage4 Post-listening

Step1. By making a sentence with pictures and given words. 

Step2.Go on consolidating the key points: like/love/enjoy/

prefer/be interested in/be fond of doing sth. By doing

some exercises. 

Step3. Do a group work and a report. 

Step4. Do some exercises.

 

Stage5 Summary and Sublimation

Step1. Lead the students summarize the new phrases and sentences patterns.

Step2. Tell students the importance of developing good interests

and hobbies.

 

Stage6  Assigning homework   

Write a small passage about your family’s hobbies. By usinglike/love/enjoy/prefer/be interested in/be fond of doing sth.
