接着戈老师引出No.4 house(in Sunshine Town)同样的方式,让学生读书本17页并回答Where do they
live? How do they come to school?
这次戈老师让学生两两合作,一人读,一人写,完成表格,相机教授metro,在学生说的同时戈老师完成板书。第五步Retell,戈老师让学生根据板书尝试复述Su
Hai lives on … She comes to school by… Yang Ling…Mike…Liu
Tao…第六步Try to think,戈老师相机提问Why does Liu Tao comes …?
并引导学生用Because…来回答,接下来让学生说说 Su Hai、Yang
Ling、Mike选择不同交通方式的原因,戈老师同时还评价了不同交通方式,重点提倡了公共交通,相机教授cheap、green。接下来让学生两两合作,相互说说原因。整个教授Story
time的部分,不见文本,但处处有文本的痕迹。在拓展教授环节,戈老师先总结We come to school by different
vehicles because we live in different
places.接下来顺势出示更多图片,让学生或一说,They live on the river. They go to school
on boat. They live on the island. They go to school by plane. They
live on the grassland. They come to school by horse. They live on
the ice. They go to school by sled. They live in the desert. They
go to school on the camel.接下来让学生Enjoy a book:Different ways to go
to school? 学生直接读,一句一句,相机教授ferry。对于绘本,戈老师是把它当成学生的拓展阅读去处理的。最后,戈老师Make
an investigation in
class,统计一下班级里上学方式,再次引导同学们采用更绿色、环保的方式。关于作业的布置,戈老师紧扣本节课的Why do you
come to school…?让学生读一读文本并找出原因。
