本课来自PEP三年级上册。教材通过Wu Yi fanMike的对话,呈现了句子和词组的语义和语用情景。

学情分析

学生对卡通图片及PPT、视频动画都很感兴趣,所以本节课在教授新知的同时又进一步拓展与话题有关的更多知识,来满足学生对知识所需。

教学目标

知识与技能:

1、能在语境中运用What’s this? It’s a...来交流物品信息。

2、能够听说、认读duck, cat, pig, dog, bear等几种动物的名称。

过程与方法:

1、由英语歌曲入手,在轻松愉悦的氛围中开始本堂课的学习。

2、由歌曲进入新单词的学习。

3、然后通过对话、演练等趣味活动的方式详细学Lets talk中的内容。

情感态度与价值观:

培养学生热爱动物、保护动物的意识。

教学重点

1、对表示各种动物名称的单词(duck, cat, pig, dog, bear)的学习和掌握,能够把握英语词汇和相对应的动物配对起来。

2、对句型“Whats this? Its a...”的学习和掌握。

学习难点

1、运用核心句型及新旧词汇自由问答:

What’s this? It’s a...

2、对表示各种声音的拟声词的了解和掌握,如woof, quack

3能听出声音识别动物,并说出相对应的英文单词。

Step 1:Warming up(Free talk and watching a music video )

1.Greeting

T:Good afternoon class! Nice to meet  you!

T:Today,we have a good pk. We have four groups. When you speak loudly or have a good performance, you can get flags.

T:Do you like animals?

T:Before we start our class, lets watch a music video first.

(play the video)

Step 2 Presentation

1.Learn some new words

T:What can you see?(适当用中文解释下)

Ss: 鸭子、猫、鸡。。。

TWell, we see a lot of animals right? Now, lets learn some new words about animals.

(show the wordduckby PPT and teach)

T:Duck,duck.

Ss: Duck, duck.

T:D,D,D.(pay attention to the pronunciation of letter D in the word)

T:Please show me your fingers! Lets spell it.

(the same way to teach the words: cat, pig, dog, bear)

TWe know lots of words about animals just now, so today our lesson isWe love animals.

(makes the action of loveand show the title on the whiteboard.)

2.Play a game: Listen and Guess

T:Now,lets play a game: Listen and Guess.

(Listen carefully the sound teacher makes and guess what the animal is as soon as you can and as quickly as you can.)

T makes the sound of duck, cat, pig, dog and bear.

3. Learn the new sentences

T shows the doll of animal and ask Ss: Whats this? and answer: It’s a...

T:What’s this means “这是什么?”用于询问事物。

(lead the Ss to read the sentences and explain in Chinese.

And practise the dialogue A:Whats this?  B:Its a...by using the dolls.)

Step 3 Text learning.

1、导入课文

T: Who are they?

(Shows the PPT of Mike and Wu Yifan )

T: Let’s see what happen on them.

(play the flash of the text then explain what happen on them.)

2跟录音朗读课文:

T逐句播放录音,Ss跟读,T纠音。

3、全班朗读课文(T重复教读,及时纠音)

4、Pair work

T:Now,practice the dialogue with your deskmate.

T巡视练习情况)

5、Role play

T:Lets do a role play.

(请两组上台展示,给所在小组加旗)
