Step 1 Warming up

(教师出示图片来复习单词on,under,behind,in,期间可让学生来拼读单词，最后引出Kitty the cat)

Step 2 Revision

1. Look and say

T: We know Kitty is very naughty. Where’s Kitty?=Where is Kitty?

（强调where’s=where is）

Ss: It’s on the sofa.（老师将Kitty放在沙发上，引导学生回答。）

Chant:

Where? Where? Where’s Kitty?

On, on. It’s on the sofa.

T: Look,Kitty runs away. Where’s Kitty now?

S: Is it in/on/under/behind the ...?（引导学生猜）

T: Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.（引导学生注重完整回答）

2. Revision

1) Recite Story time

T: Kitty runs away again. Where’s Kitty now?

（出示课文图片，引导学生说一说）

2) Act out

1.  Look and say

T: Kitty did something wrong. She’s sad. She wants to find her friend.

（呈现Fun time图片Where’s her friend?引出a cat）

T: Where’s the cat? Where’s Kitty?（比较说说the 的用法）

S: It’s on the table.

2.  Ask and answer

T: There are the other friends in the room. Can you find them?

（先引导学生说说图片中的动物，再让学生两人一组进行操练）
