愚人节快乐！

剧情梗概

家里来了两个外国交流生格蕾丝和琳达，佳佳高兴坏了，妈妈却很犯愁，因为小家伙们总在一起捣蛋，弄得她手忙脚乱，狼狈不堪。这不，四月一日这天，又有故事啦……

妈妈：（一个人站在舞台左侧的桌旁，表示在家，正准备做饭）I have been very busy recently, for two American students came to live in my house. My daughter, Jiajia is quite happy, she likes to have friends living with her, but as the host mother, I can hardly bear it——three girls, well, can you imagine how naughty they are? Now, they are at school, and I want to cook some typical Chinese dishes for them, I’m sure that the two American girls will like them very much, and so will my daughter. ( 我最近特别忙，因为有两个美国女孩住在我家。我女儿佳佳可高兴了，她喜欢有朋友跟她住在一起，但作为房东妈妈，我却有点受不了了——这三个女孩儿，嗯，你能想像她们有多淘吗？现在她们在学校呢。我打算给她们做点地道的中国菜，两个美国女孩一定爱吃，我女儿也会爱吃的。)

妈妈站到桌后做炒菜状。一会儿，三个女孩从台右边上来，格蕾丝走在最前面，脚步轻松；琳达在其右后，蹦蹦跳跳；佳佳在琳达左后，脚步稍显沉重，若有所思。三人走到家门口附近，停住。

佳佳：Wait, wait, wait, are you sure my mom will agree to our plan for tomorrow, Grace?(等等，等等，你们确定我妈妈会同意咱们明天的计划吗，格蕾丝？)

格蕾丝：That can’t be a problem，Jiajia.(不会有问题的，佳佳。)

琳达：At my age, my mom never stops me doing that.(像我这么大，我妈妈都不会拦我的。)

佳佳：You really don’t know what Chinese moms are like，my dear Linda.(你可真不知道中国的妈妈们是什么样儿，我亲爱的琳达。)

格蕾丝：I do know. Chinese moms always take too much care of their children, as if they would never grow up.(我当然知道。中国的妈妈总是对孩子关心过头，就好象他们永远也长不大。)

琳达：My mom is not like that. When I was only 5, my parents began to teach me how to ride a horse，of course, that’s just a pony.（我妈妈不是那样的。当我五岁的时候，我父母就开始教我学骑马，当然，那只是小马。）

佳佳：That’s great! It is quite cool riding a pony, hmm, I mean at your age. Your mom is great! (那真棒！骑小马也很酷啊，嗯，我是说，在你那个年纪上。你妈妈真棒！)

格蕾丝：Your mom will also be great, I think.(你妈妈也会很棒的，我想。)

佳佳：No, she won’t allow me to ride horse tomorrow. I’m sure.（不，她不会同意我明天骑马的。我确信。）

格蕾丝：I have a good idea, let’s ……(我有个好主意，咱们……)

格蕾丝叫过两个孩子，三人凑在一起假装说悄悄话，说几句后，格蕾丝轻声说“一二三一起笑”，然后三人爆发出一阵大笑。佳佳和琳达闪到一边，格蕾丝上前作敲门状，妈妈开门，格蕾丝进屋后关门，佳佳和琳达凑上去，一前一后作趴门偷听状。

妈妈：Why are you home alone, Grace? Where are they?(为什么你一个人回来了，格蕾丝？她们呢？)

格蕾丝：They are in some activities outside school. I have some important homework to do, so……(他们正参加在校外的一些活动，我有些重要作业要做，所以……)

妈妈：What activities? Dangerous?（什么活动啊？危险吗？）

格蕾丝：Yes or no. They are riding horses there, It’s quite cool. (也危险也不危险。他们正在骑马呢，真酷啊。)

妈妈：Are you really?  Unbelievable. It is very dangerous. I must go and ask Jiajia to come back at once. (真的吗？难以置信。它太危险了。我必须马上去找佳佳回来。)

妈妈做要跑出去找人状，格蕾丝连忙拦住她。门外的佳佳和琳达忙跑开一段距离，停住，两人靠在一起。

格蕾丝：You don’t know where they are, neither do I. (您不知道她们在哪儿，我也不知道。)

妈妈：What can I do? Oh, I’ll call her now. (我该做什么呢？噢，现在给她打个电话吧。)

掏出电话拨。佳佳电话铃响，她有点吃惊，捂着正在响的手机，移几步到离家门更远点的地方，接听手机。

妈妈：Jiajia, what are you doing? (佳佳，你在干嘛呢。)

佳佳：I’m riding a horse. It is so cool. Derrrrrrrr！Jar！Listen, my horse is singing.（我在骑马呢，真酷啊。得儿！驾！听，我的马儿在唱歌。）

琳达学马叫的声音：恢—恢—恢……

妈妈：I don’t hear the horse singing, but I do hear a devil howling. ( 我没听到马在唱歌，我只听见魔鬼在嚎。)

佳佳和琳达捂嘴乐。妈妈挂断电话，面露生气和着急的样子。一会儿，突然又象是想起了什么，问格蕾丝。

妈妈：And where is Linda? Riding a horse, too? (琳达在哪儿啊？也在那儿吗？)

格蕾丝：Yeah, she must be riding a horse, too. Let me call her. (是啊，她想必也在骑马呢。我给她打个电话。)

格蕾丝拨电话，琳达两腿屈着，作出骑马的架式接电话。佳佳看着琳达的样子偷偷笑。

格蕾丝：Hi, Linda, how is it going? Tell me where you are now. (嗨，琳达，你还好吧？告诉我你现在在哪儿呢？)

琳达：I’m on a horse’s back, it’s wonderful! Ho！Ho！(我在马背上呢，真美妙啊！嚯！嚯！)

琳达把手机对着佳佳示意，佳佳学马叫的声音：恢—恢—恢……

妈妈捂着胸口，作紧张状。

格蕾丝：Don’t be nervous, Linda is a very good rider, she began this sport at the age of 5. Her parents support her very much. (您别紧张，琳达是个好骑手，她五岁就开始练这项运动了。她父母非常支持她。)

妈妈：At the age of 5?  So young！ You American parents are quite different from our Chinese.（五岁？那么小啊！你们美国家长跟我们中国的太不一样了。）

格蕾丝：Yes, our parents want us to face some risks in our life, I think that is quite good for our growth.（是啊，我们父母希望我们能够面对一些生活中的风险，我觉得那对我们成长是有好处的。）

妈妈：Maybe I should change my mind. But, Jiajia should’ve told me about that in advance. （也许我该换下脑筋了。不过，佳佳去之前应当给我打个招呼啊。）

格蕾丝：She will tell you about that before she goes to ride a horse. (她将会在去骑马之前告诉您一声的。)

妈妈：She will……？（她将会……？）

格蕾丝：Yes, do you remember what the date today is? It’s fool’s day. What I told you just now is not true. (是的，您还记得今天是什么日子吗？今天是愚人节啊。刚才我跟您说的不是真的。)

琳达和佳佳作推门状，一前一后进屋。

佳佳：We were not riding any so called horses. (我们没骑什么所谓的马。)

琳达：Jiajia and I made the horse’s voice. (佳佳和我学马叫呢。)

格蕾丝：But we are going to learn horse-riding tomorrow，we’ll have teachers with us. Would you like Jiajia to go with us? (但我们明天将要学骑马，有老师跟着。您让佳佳去吗？)

妈妈：Of course. I need to change my mind. But be careful，all of you. (当然。我的观念也得转变了。但你们三人都得小心。)

格蕾丝、佳佳和琳达：You bet. No problem. That’s ok.  (放心好了。没问题。行。)

妈妈：OK. Oh, I have something urgent, and I’m going to my office now. I’m afraid that you’ll have to cook the meal yourself. (我现在有点要事，得马上去办公室。恐怕你们得自己做晚饭了。)

格蕾丝、佳佳和琳达：Really? No, no. Oh, Dear me!  (噢，天哪！真的吗？不，不。)

妈妈：Haha! You are fooled! That’s equal! Well, I have prepared a perfect meal for you, let’s enjoy it now. (哈哈！你们上当啦！咱们扯平了！对了，我给你们做好了美餐，现在，让我们开始晚餐吧。)

格蕾丝和琳达：Thank you. (谢谢。)

佳佳扑上前去抱住妈妈：Oh, my dear mom!
