位于滨海湾亲水黄金位置，是由Wilkinson Eyre进行总平面设计，由滨海南花园、滨海东花园和滨海中花园三个风格各异的水岸花园连接而成。该花园占地101公顷。滨海南花园是滨海湾花园中最大的一个花园，占地54公顷。毗邻滨海湾综合度假胜地，由英国园林建筑公司Grant Associates 设计。

这座生机勃勃、活力四射的花园展示最优秀的热带园艺和园林艺术，拥有大量的热带花卉、色叶植物等。海南花园的特色景点包括花穹和云雾林冷室、金园、银园和巨树丛林内的18 棵擎天大树、文化遗产花园、植物世界、蜻蜓湖和翠鸟湖等。

擎天大树是高度介于25 至50 米的树形结构。这些独具一格的垂直花园通过垂直展示的热带攀缘植物、附生植物和蕨类植物，制造令人惊叹的元素。这18 个树形结构的建筑从热带雨林中的优势树种中汲取灵感。它们将成年树的外形和功能相结合，不仅可支持植物的生长，还能通过具备环境可持续性的特征模拟树木的生态功能。

包括两个玻璃生态区：“云雾林”（占地0.8 公顷）和“花穹”（占地1.2 公顷）。这两个温室临海而建，以钢铁和玻璃为主要结构，最大程度上优化了观景视野，并加强了陆地和海洋之间的连系。这两个节能的建筑使用了最新的可持续性建筑技术，配备水流收集和过滤系统。温室内培育有22.6万个植物，来自全球各个大洲(南极洲除外)，温室穹顶是建筑、环境和园艺文化三者的结合。“花之穹顶”是较大的一个温室，里面以种植地中海植物为主，“云之森林”则模仿了热带高海拔地区环境，比如南美洲和沙巴的京那峇鲁山。

园艺展览花园主要由“文化遗产花园”和“植物世界”两部分组成，栩栩如生地展现了植物对人类和地球的重要价值。的主题花园包括树木的秘密生活 (Secret Life of Trees)、掌上世界 (World of Palms)、林下植物 (the Understorey)、果与花 (Fruit & Flowers)、生命之网 (Web of Life) 和探索花园 (Discovery Gardens) 等。

Gardens by the Bay is apark spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) of reclaimed land in central Singapore,adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfrontgardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden. The largestof the three gardens is Bay South Garden, standing at 54 hectares (130 acres).

Gardens by the Bay is an integral part of a strategy by the Singaporegovernment to transform Singapore from a "Garden City" to a"City in a Garden". The stated aim is to raise the quality of life byenhancing greenery and flora in the city. Alongside lead designers GrantAssociates, the British design team for Bay South included Wilkinson EyreArchitects (architects); Atelier Ten (environmental design consultants);Atelier One (structural engineers).

Bay South Garden opened to the public on 29 June 2012. It is the largestof the three gardens at 54 hectares (130 acres) and aims to showcase the bestof tropical horticulture and garden artistry. The overall concept of its masterplan draws inspiration from an orchid as it is representative of the tropicsand of Singapore, being the country's national flower, the Vanda “Miss Joaquim”.The orchid takes root at the waterfront (conservatories), while the leaves(landforms), shoots (paths, roads and link ways) and secondary roots (water,energy and communication lines) then form an integrated network with blooms(theme gardens and supertrees) at key intersections.
