唐寅，字伯虎，一字子畏，号六如居士、桃花庵主、逃禅仙史等，吴县(今江苏苏州)人。他是个风流才子，诗、文、画俱佳。由于仕途多舛，就游历名山大川，专门致力绘事，以卖画为生。他长于人物，特别以仕女画见长。他画春宫画，与他的生活情趣有很大关系，也是他风流性格不羁的表现。

《鸳鸯秘谱》，又名《风流绝畅图》明刊套印本，折装本，一册，版框22×22cm。此本前图后文，缺第三图。蓝黑红黄四色套印，首有东海病鹤居士序，题丙午（1606）年春，序后有“黄一明镌”字样。据称唐伯虎绘有《风流绝畅图》一套，共二十四幅，甚为有名。
