Heading T/F/NG.

FAA was created as a result of the introduction of the jet engine.

2.1.  Heading

i) Disobeying FAA regulations. 。。。

ii)Aviation disaster prompts action 空难。。。

iii) Two coincidental developments

viiDefining airspace categories.

viii) Setting rules to weather conditions

ixTaking off safely 安全起飞

xFirst steps towards ATC

An accident that occurred in the skies over the Grand Canyon in 1956 resulted in the establishment of FAA.

ii)Aviation disaster prompts action 空难。。。

In the 1940s, ATC centres could and did take advantage of the newly developed radar and improved radio communication brought about by the Second World War.

iii) Two coincidental developments

Many people think that….. This is a very incomplete part of the picture.

First, ATC extends over virtually the entire United States. Controlled airspace…from 365m above…, uncontrolled airspace

The FAA then recognized two types of operating environments. …

viii) Setting rules to weather conditions

Controlled airspace is divided into several different types.

viiDefining airspace categories.

2.2.          T/F/NG

20  The FAA was created as a result of the introduction of the jet engine.

An accident that occurred in the skies over the Grand Canyon in 1956 resulted in the establishment of FAA.

FALSE

21 Air Traffic Control started after the Grand Canyon crash in 1956.

B 第一句:Rudimentary ATC existed well before the Grand Canyon disaster.

FALSE

22 Beacons and flashing lights are still used by ATC today.

NG.

23 Some improvements were made in radio communication during World War II.

C段: newly developed radar and improved communication brought about by the Second World War.

TRUE

24 Class F airspace is airspace which is below 365m and not near airsports.

G段:uncontrolled airspace is designated Class F.

In general, from 365m above the ground and higher, the entire country is blanketed by controlled airspace. In certain areas, mainly near airports, controlled airspace extends down to 215m above the ground.

TRUE

25 All aircraft in Class E airspace must use IFR

G段:The difference between Class E and A airspace is that in class A, all operations are IFR,

FALSE

26 A pilot entering Class C airspace is flying over an average-sized city.

Class C  medium-sized metropolitan airports

TRUE
