在阴冷多雾的巴黎，现在是干燥晴朗的北京

向你发出两千公里的邀约

让我们在这个冬天设一个回忆的道场

回忆那年，白毛风刮过松林岔口

大雪封门，赶爬犁访君不遇

远在边疆的农场寂静如寒星

唯有少年像开不败的冰凌花

如今人世的繁华落尽，并非一日之寒

我们曾短暂的相知，在风雪阻隔的机耕道上

却念念不忘，转眼已是汹涌暮年

回忆是一种多么迅疾的病痛啊

令你猝不及防就被旧梦缠身

而终有一散的人们别来无恙

我生有涯，除了回忆我一无所用

From chilly and misty Paris, now it is dry and sunny Beijing

Send you an invitation of two thousand kilometers

Let’s set a rite in this winter for recalling  

Remembering that year, blizzard wind blew through the fork of pine forest

Heavy snow blocked the door, I drove a sleigh to visit you but in vain

A remote farm at the frontier silent as cold stars

Only young people always bloomed like winter jasmine

Now all blossoms fall in the human world, not because of one day’s coldness

We were temporary confidants, on the snowstorm bound tractor road

But never ever forget, in an instant old age came surging in

Recalling is so sudden an illness and pain

Capturing us off guard and entwined in past dreams

Hopefully people destined to separate are well since departure

My life is not endless, I have nothing to present but my memories
