My Home
一、教材依据
本课时教学是依据小学英语PEP教材四年级上册第四单元A部分 Let’s learn和Let’s do设计而成。
二、设计思想
这个课时的教学目标本来主要是:
1、让学生掌握单词study, bathroom, bedroom, living room,kitchen听说与认读。
2、能说唱“Let’s do”部分的内容并能做出相应的动作。
本人根据学生的实际程度和课程理念出发,又增加了两个教学目标:
1、能听说词汇watch TV, read a book, have a snack, take a shower, have a sleep。
2、完成一个交际任务:介绍自己的家。采用了新课标倡导的“任务型”教学途径。
在教学中,新单词的教学都应在一定的语言情境中呈现,并结合学生已经学过的语言结构、富有韵律和动感的“Let’s do”以及学生所喜好的歌曲和游戏活动进行大面积操练,巩固新语言,最后给出新语言框架:This is my home. You can see a living room, a bedroom, a …. Welcome to my home! 通过老师示范、尖子生示范,让学生学会介绍自己的家,并在交际活动中活化新语言,完成学习任务。
三、 教学目标
1.能听、说、认读单词study, bathroom, bedroom, living room和kitchen,以及句型:Where is she/he? Is she in the study? Yes,she is./ No,she isn’t.并能在实际情景中加以运用。
2.能听懂并发出一些指令,如:Go to the living room/ …. Watch TV. Read a book. Have a snack. Take a shower. Have a sleep. 以及句型:Where is she/he? Is she in the study? Yes,she is./ No,she isn’t.并能在实际情景中加以运用。
3.能用下列语言简单介绍自己的家:This is my home. You can see a living room, a bedroom, a …. Welcome to my home!
4.培养学生对家的热爱。
四、 教学重点
1.能听、说、认读单词study, bathroom, bedroom, living room和kitchen,以及句型:Where is she/he? Is she in the study? Yes,she is./ No,she isn’t.并能在实际情景中加以运用。
2.能用简单的语言介绍自己的家,培养学生对家的热爱。
五、 教学难点
能理解并会说Have a snack. Take a shower. Have a sleep.等语言,并能用下列语言简单介绍自己的家:This is my home. You can see a living room, a bedroom, a …. Welcome to my home!
六、 教学准备
1.教师制作多媒体课件。
2.学生每人准备一张自己家的平面图。
3.教师准备study, bathroom, bedroom, living room和kitchen的单词卡片及相应图片。
七、 教学过程
Step1: Warm-up(热身导入)
1.Greeting.
T: Hello! Nice to see you!
Ss:......
T: Today, I will take you a good place.It’s my home.(引出课题)
2.Sing a song.
T:But my home is very far from here. So we should take a bus.
Look, the bus is coming. Who wants to be the driver?
(请同学当司机,其他同学做动作)
T:Ready? Go.
(课件呈现歌曲the wheels on the bus.师生同唱,边做动作。)
Step2:Lead in
T: OK. Here we are. (课件呈现家的图)
Look at the words. Who can read it?
T: Well. Look here.(手指小黑板,呈现家的平面图)
Welcome to my home! I will show you aroud my home.
How many rooms in my home?What colour are they?
Step3: Presentation(新课呈现)
I have 5 rooms. Which room do you want to get in first? Choose the colour.
(让学生上台打开门,一一展示各个房间)

教学living room
T: Is this a classroom?
Ss: No.
T: What is it?Let’s have a look. Open the door.
Ss: Living room.
T: Yes.
This is a living room. Follow me:
Ss: (read one by one)
然后教授其他四个单词。
2.Words practice(单词操练)
Look here. We have 5 new friends.
(1)Who can read?
(2)This line ,please.
(3)You read, others follow.
(4)What’s missing?
(5)Passing words.
3. Let’s do
(1)T:Look. Here are some new friends. Let’s see . what does he /she do?
Ss:Watch TV. Read a book. Have a snack. Take a shower. Have a sleep.
T: Where is she?/Where is he?
Ss:She is in the..../He is in the ....
(2)Practice.
T: Now, let’s chant and do together.(教师播放课文Let’s do的录音。)
4.Sentence.
(1) Sentence Presentation(句型呈现)
T:Listen. What’s the sound? (课件播放猫叫声)
Ss:A cat. It’s cat Kitty.
T:Where is she?Help me. Find it .(教师示范翻开一张卡片。)
T:Is she in the study?
教师引导学生回答:No,she isn’t.
T:Who wants to try? Come here.(请同学上台翻开卡片)
Ss: Is she in the ...?
其余同学回答:Yes,she is./ No,she isn’t.
(2)Sentence practice(句型操练)
T:I will hide Kitty, you try to find her. Turn back.
T:(教师藏好后问:Where is she?并引导学生呢个猜:Is she in the ...? 引导其余同学回答:Yes,she is./ No,she isn’t.
(示范后请同学自己上台Hide and seek.自由练习)
Step4: Consolidation and Extension(巩固与拓展延伸)
1. Introduce your home介绍自己的家
T: (多媒体出示一张新的home图。) Listen, boys and girls, Kitty is saying something:“Iwant to know your home .” Take your pictures .Can you introduce your home now?
You can follow it: (ppt展示例句) This is my new home.
You can see a living room, a ….
Welcome to my home!
Introduce your home with your partner.(多媒体出示师示范语言,学生同桌介绍自己的家。)
Ss: ...
T: Now, who can introduce your home to the whole class? (请部分学生向全班介绍自己的家。)
T: Well done! Now, please walk around the class and introduce your home to your friends. (学生在教室自由走动,向朋友介绍自己的家。)

T: Now.Group work. 6 people,a group. Design your home and show your homr to others.
Step5: Summary.
1.T: Today, we’ve learned how to introduce your home and you’ve done a good job.
