小学英语故事演讲稿:小蝌蚪找妈妈  Today I say the story is < tadpole’s mummy >. 

Spring comes.（春天来了。）The tadpoles are missing their mummy.（小蝌蚪们想妈妈了。）They want to look for her.（他们要去找她。）A duck is coming.（一只鸭子游过来了。）“Mummy，mummy！”（“妈妈，妈妈！”）The duck says：（鸭子说：）“Sorry，I’m not your mummy.（对不起，我不是你们的妈妈。）Your mummy has a white belly！（你们的妈妈有一个白肚皮！）”The tadpoles say：（小蝌蚪说：）“Thank you！Good-bye！”（“谢谢您！再见！”） 

A fish is coming.（一条鱼游过来了。）“Mummy，mummy！”（“妈妈，妈妈！”）The fish says：（鱼说：）“Sorry，I’m not your mummy.（对不起，我不是你们的妈妈。）Your mummy has two big eyes.（你们的妈妈有两只大眼睛。）”The tadpoles say：（小蝌蚪说：） “Thanks！Bye！”（“谢谢您！再见！”） 

A turtle is coming.（一只乌龟游过来了。）“Mummy，mummy！”（“妈妈，妈妈！”）The turtle says：（乌龟说：）“Sorry，I’m not your mummy.（对不起，我不是你们的妈妈。）Your mummy wears a green dress.（你们的妈妈穿着一件绿衣服。）”The tadpoles say：（小蝌蚪说：）“Thanks a lot！See you！”（多谢您！回头见！） 

Jest then，（正在这时，）The frog is coming.（青蛙游过来了。）The tadpoles say：（小蝌蚪说：）“Mummy，mummy！”（“妈妈，妈妈！”）The frog says：（青蛙说：）“How are you，My babies！（你们好啊！我的宝贝！）I love you so much！（我是多么爱你们啊！）”

小学英语故事比赛演讲稿：最贵重的礼物

At one stopover in a town, a huge banner was written in bold letters: Famine in Africa:“please give generously to save the starving people. ”

在一个镇上的中转站挂着一个巨型横幅，上面用黑体字写着： ¨非洲饥荒，请您慷慨解囊，拯救饥饿的人们。¨在那儿有一大群 人在排队捐赠。

A large crowd was queuing to hand over their donations. Near the door of the town hall stood a beautiful young girl, poorly but neatly dressed.

市政厅的门旁站着一个漂亮的小姑娘，她的衣服质地很差， 却很整洁。她注视着眼前的人们，眼里闪烁着害羞的神情。

With shy glances she watched the people before her. She saw a merchant who laid a bag of 90ld on the table.

她看 见一位商人把一袋金子放在了桌上。

Then came a rich lady with haughty looks who offered a variety of jewels; some others handed cash, clothing's and foodstuff, The girl was reluctant to take her turn but at last, summoning up her courage, she stepped forward.

接着，一位傲慢的贵夫人拿 出了各种珠宝，其他人也递上了现金、衣服和食物。小姑娘还在犹豫要不要捐，最终她还是鼓起勇气走上前去。

"But...it is so small I am ashamed to offer it. It seems worthless, but it is all I have, "she said.

¨可是……这太少了，我都不好意思拿出来。它看起来一文不值， 但这是我所有的东西了。¨她说道。

"We are grateful for e\ten the smallest offering," the man at the counter replied kindly. "Here it is, I have nothing else to give," she added timidly, she drew under her cloak two long thick plaits of her golden hair.

¨即使是最少的捐赠，我们也 非常感激，¨柜台旁的人和善地说口¨给，我没有别的可捐了。”她羞怯地补充说。她从披风下拽出两根又长又粗的金色辫子

As she did so, the hood of her cloak fell back, showing the beautifully young head shorn of its golden glory.

这时， 披风的风帽掉了下来，露出已失去金色光环的漂亮的小脑袋。

The generosity of this beautiful girl to donate her most priceless possession, her golden locks of hair, overshadowed all the glittering gold or j8wels of the other donors.

这个漂亮的小姑娘慷慨地捐出了她最珍贵的财产一一她的 金发，令其他捐赠者的闪闪发光的金子、珠宝等捐赠物都黯然 失色。

小学英语故事比赛演讲稿：狐假虎威

A tiger caught fox in a forest, and was just about to eat it, when the fox said, "You mustn't eat me. I was sent by Heaven to rule the animals.

老虎在山林里捉到了一只狐狸，要吃掉它。狐狸连忙说：“你不能吃我，我是天帝派来统治百兽的。你要吃了我，就违抗了天帝的命令。

By eating me, You will violate the command of Heaven. If you dont believe me, just follow me to see whether the animals are afraid of me."

 你不信，就跟我倒山林里走一趟，看百兽见了我是不是都很害怕。”

The tiger agreed, and followed the fox as it walked around the forest. The animals all ran away on seeing them. The tiger thought they were afraid of the fox, so he let it go. He didn’t  realise that it was him that he beasts were really afraid of.

就跟在狐狸的后面走进山林。百兽见了果然都纷纷逃命。老虎以为百兽真的害怕狐狸而不知道是害怕自己，于是就把狐狸给放了，老虎相信了狐狸的话。
    This idiom means relying on another 's power to bully or frighten others.这个成语用来比喻依仗别人的势力去欺压人或吓唬人。
