上周六我有幸受中国年轻艺术家孔令楠的邀请，出席了她的最新艺术展。

大约 在两年前，在银泰举办的Vogue7周年派对上，我第一次遇到了她。那时候，我就被她的冷调优雅和过人的艺术才华而吸引，这个名字让人不能忘怀。我很喜欢 这个有着瑞士缆车的霓虹作品，我曾在瑞士住过很长一段时间，当看到这幅作品的时候，我能够深深地体会到作品中暗含孤独与恐惧的信息，非常夺人眼球的震撼作 品。那一晚，在万千佳丽当中，她是最优雅且闪耀的那一个。

This saturday I was priviledge to be invited to the presentation of the beautiful (and so talented) Chinese artist Konglingnan latest work.

I met Kong Lingnan about 2 years ago at the Vogue 7th anniversary party in Yintai. She impressed me then by her cool elegance and incredible talent. I admired that neon piece with the "Swiss" cabin. Having lived in Switzerland for a long time, I could feel it's underlying message about the loneliness and fear...  It was mezmerizing... and  that night, in a sea of glamourous creatures,  she was the most elegant one.

当晚，她身穿她的好朋友服装设计师于惋宁的“Evening”系列。

Plus that night she was wearing an outfit from her friend the designer Yu Waning "Evening" collection。

简单之完美。

I met her again last year to discuss her work, and once again she was amazingly chic. We ended up discussing her work and the evolution of her style both as an artist and a woman.

孔令楠的艺术已经走入了一个新的方向，艺术表现地更加抽象。岛屿、海洋、夜晚，这样的元素在她游刃有余地创作下变得引人入胜。颜色与光线地碰撞，她创作出的独特的霓虹灯仿佛让观众们置身于海洋的幻想之旅中。

Kong Lingnan has moved into a new direction with a more abstract narrative into her art.  Islands, the sea, night, all these elements with her dexterity become intriguing. The colors clash together and light, her special neon light is perfectly rendered to take the viewer into an imaginative journey at sea.

我不是艺术评论家，但是我真心喜欢并且强烈推荐在北京的朋友们到Yang Gallery看看，亲身感受下艺术的魅力。

I am not an art critic, but I absolutely loved it and strongly recommend if you are in Beijing that you visit the Yang Gallery to take a look for yourself.

我所擅长的是时尚，记录开幕当天到场的Belle du Jour的超酷优雅。每一位到场的女孩都优雅至极，相比正在开展的时装周大战，你可以想想那些时尚“受害者”的穿着，一个比一个夸张……所以，北京这时候的静雅是恰到好处的。

What I am en expert at, is fashion and the cool elegance of the Belle du Jour that came to the opening was fabulous.

Each single girl was supremely elegant, yet understated. These days as Fashion Weeks are starting worldwide, we will be drowing in images of fashion victims looking more ridiculous one than the next... So a bit on Beijing elegance was perfect.

喜欢她的包（谁会不爱香奈儿）和这件不对称的白色衬衫。

当日所有女孩们的穿着都有一个共同之处，就是简简单单。没有闪耀的配饰，她们用黑与白或者深蓝与白色来演绎着素雅的时尚。

What they all had in common was a simple elegance. No bling, no unecessary accessories. All the women were understated and chic in a minimalist palette of black and white or navy and white.
