旄丘之葛兮，何诞之节兮？叔兮伯兮，何多日也？

9.流离:鸟名,即枭或黄鹂。一说转徙离散。

10.褎(yòu又):聋；一说多笑貌。充耳:塞耳。古代挂在冠冕两旁的玉饰,用丝带下垂到耳门旁。

Vines grow upon the mound;

Their sprays creep all around.

For long you don’t appear!

Why hide behind the door?

What are you waiting for?

You demur for so long;

O ye uncles,

It must be they expect allies.

Came our carriages not eastwards?

You do not sympathize with us.

Fragments, and a remnant,

Children of dispersion [are we]!
