一位女士要去意大利参加会议。于是，她问丈夫：“需要我给你带点什么回来吗？”

他笑着说：“带个意大利姑娘回来！”

会议结束后，他在机场接她，问：“旅途怎么样？”

“很好。”她回答。

“我的礼物带来了吗？”

“什么礼物？”她问。

“我要的那个——意大利姑娘！”

“哦，是那个啊。我尽力了。我们得等9个月才能知道，那是不是个姑娘。”

原文： The gift from the conference

A woman has to go to Italy for a conference，so she asks her husband：“Is there anything I can bring back for you？”

He laughs，and says：“An Italian girl！”

When the conference is over，he meets her at the airport and asks：“How was the trip？”

“Very good。” she replies。

“And what happened to my present？”

“Which present？” she asks。

“The one I asked for - an Italian girl！”

“Oh，that。I did what I could。We’ll just have to wait 9 months to see if it’s a girl。”
