老弗雷德

老弗雷德是一个虔诚的基督徒。他在医院里已经奄奄一息。他的家人打电话给他们的牧师，让他来医院给病人作临终祈祷。

当牧师站到病床边时，老弗雷德的病情出现恶化现象。他挣扎着示意要写点什么。

牧师亲切地递给他一支笔和一张纸。老弗雷德用尽他最后的一点力气在纸上写了一句话。随后，他就撒手归天了。

当时，牧师觉得不应该立即查看那张纸条。于是，他把它放进了外衣的口袋里。

在葬礼上，当牧师念完追悼词时，他发现他穿的外衣就是他去医院陪伴老弗雷德去世时穿的那件。

他向众人说：“你们知道，老弗雷德在去世前递给我一张纸条。我还没有看过。但以我对老弗雷德的了解，我相信，那是老弗雷德想要对我们所有人说的鼓舞人心的话。”

他打开纸条，大声念着：“混蛋。你踩到我的氧气管了！”

Ol' Fred had been a faithful Christian and was in the hospital，near death。The family called their pastor to stand with them。

As the pastor stood next to the bed，Ol' Fred's condition appeared to deteriorate and he motioned frantically for something to write on。

The pastor lovingly handed him a pen and a piece of paper，and Ol' Fred used his last bit of energy to scribble a note，then he died。

The pastor thought it best not to look at the note at that time，so he placed it in his jacket pocket。

At the funeral，as he was finishing the message，he realized that he was wearing the same jacket that he was wearing when Ol' Fred died。

He said：“You know，Ol' Fred handed me a note just before he died。I haven't looked at it，but knowing Fred，I'm sure there's a word of inspiration there for us all。”

He opened the note，and read out loud：“Asshole，you're standing on my oxygen tube！”
