一名死刑犯将在第二天早上被执行死刑。

一名狱警问犯人，最后一顿饭他是不是想吃点什么特别的。

犯人拒绝了这个提议。

然后，狱警又问这名囚犯，在他的最后一天，他是否有什么特别想做的事。

囚犯再次拒绝了这个提议。

第二天早上，当死刑犯被带到行刑队面前时，狱警问他是否想要一支烟和一个眼罩。

“不要。”犯人说，“免了吧。”

“那么，在你走之前，我还能为你做些什么吗？”狱警问。

注：这个笑话的创意来自上个世纪中期在北美流行的一首英语歌《墙上有99瓶啤酒（99 bottles of beer on the wall）》。歌词第一段从“墙上有99瓶啤酒”开始，拿下1瓶，变成98瓶。然后，第二段从“98瓶”开始，拿下一瓶，变成97瓶。这样一直唱到“墙上没有啤酒”。歌曲的曲调每段4小节，每小节4拍。全曲99段，一共是1584拍。如果每分钟唱120拍，唱完99瓶啤酒，需要13.2分钟。如果每分钟唱96拍，唱完需要16.5分钟。它还有许多变体。比如，唱完99瓶还要再唱下去，就唱“墙上没有啤酒了，再去超市买99瓶”。这样，又可以再唱一遍《墙上有99瓶啤酒》。或者，用负数唱下去。比如，“墙上没有啤酒了，拿下1瓶欠1瓶。”欠2瓶，欠3瓶……这样无限制地欠下去。由于这首歌的曲调简单，容易记住，可以长时间地唱下去，所以，常被用来当作倒计数，或家人、学生、团体长途旅行时在车厢里的消遣娱乐。如果按16分半钟唱完99瓶啤酒，唱完10亿瓶啤酒的时间至少需要317年。

An inmate on death row was scheduled to be put to death by firing squad the following morning。

One of the prison guards asked the inmate if he wanted something special for his last meal。

The inmate declined the offer。

Later，the prison guard asked the inmate if there was something special he wanted to do on his final day。

Again，the inmate declined the offer。

The following morning，as he inmate was being put before the firing squad，the guard asked him if he wanted a cigarette and a blindfold。

“No。”the inmate said，“just get it over with。”

“Well，is there anything that I can do for you before you go？”asked the guard。

The inmate thought for a moment，then replied：“Actually，music is my life。One thing I would really like would be to sing my favorite song，from beginning to end，without any interruptions。”

The guard nodded and agreed。“Go ahead。”said the guard。

The inmate started：“One billion bottles of beer on the wall……”
