关节炎

一名浑身酒气的男子瘫坐在地铁车厢里的座位上。他身旁坐着一位神父。

男人的领带沾着污迹，脸上印有口红的痕迹，破烂外套的口袋里插着一瓶喝剩了一半的杜松子酒。

他打开一份报纸，开始阅读。

几分钟后，这个衣衫不整的家伙转向旁边的神父问道：“神父。请问是什么原因导致了关节炎？”

“先生。那是因为生活放纵，生活贫困，与不良女人交往，酗酒，以及自高自大造成的。”

“哇。这样啊。”醉汉自言自语地说。然后，又继续看他的报纸。

神父觉得自己的话可能冒犯了这个男人。

于是，他推了推那人，并道歉说。 “非常抱歉。我不是故意要贬低你。你得关节炎多久了？”

“我没有关节炎，神父。我刚刚在报纸上看到，教皇有关节炎。”

A man who smelled like a distillery flopped on a subway seat next to a priest。

The man's tie was stained，his face was plastered with red lipstick，and a half-empty bottle of gin was sticking out of his torn coat pocket。

He opened his newspaper and began reading。

After a few minutes the disheveled guy turned to the priest and asked：“Say，Father，what causes arthritis？”

“Mister，it's caused by loose living，being with cheap，wicked women，too much alcohol，and a contempt for your fellow man。”

“Wow，”the drunk muttered，returning to his paper。

The priest，thinking about what he had said，nudged the man and apologized：“I'm very sorry，I didn't mean to come on so strong。How long have you had arthritis？”

“I don't have it，Father。I was just reading here that the Pope does。”
