这是斯坦利杯决赛的第七场比赛。

一个男人朝着他面对冰场中央的座位走去。

他坐下来。注意到旁边的座位是空的。

他斜过身去，问他的邻座，会不会有人坐这个位置。

“不会。”邻居说，“这个座位是空的。”

“太不可思议了。”那男人说，“在斯坦利杯季后赛的最后一场比赛中，哪个头脑正常的人会买了这个座位而不用呢？”

邻居说：“是啊。实际上，这个座位是我买的。我本该和我妻子一起来的，可是她去世了。这是我们自1967年结婚以来，第一次没有一起观看斯坦利杯。”

“哦……听到这个原因，我很抱歉。这真是令人伤心。不过，难道你找不到其他人，比如朋友、亲戚，甚至邻居来坐这个位置吗？”

那人摇摇头：“不。他们都在葬礼上。”

It's Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final，and a man makes his way to his seat right at center ice。

He sits down，noticing that the seat next to him is empty。He leans over and asks his neighbor if someone will be sitting there。

“No。”Says the neighbor，“The seat is empty。”

“This is incredible。”Said the man，“Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for final game of the Stanley Cup playoffs and not use it？”

The neighbor says：“Well，actually，the seat belongs to me。I was supposed to come with my wife，but she passed away。This is the first Stanley Cup we haven't been together since we got married in 1967。”

“Oh……I'm sorry to hear that。That's terrible。But couldn't you find someone else，a friend or relative，or even a neighbor to take the seat？”

The man shakes his head：“No，they're all at the funeral。”
