教 Unit 9 What does he look like? Step 1:New words :Learn to read the words on page49 1. Open your books to Page 127, read the new words by yourselves according to the phonetics symbols and underline the difficult words. 2. Now you can discuss the difficult words in group and try to get the pronunciation right. 3. I’ll ask one student to read the new words. If the student’s pronunciation is wrong, you can offer to stand up to correct it at once. For the most difficult words that you can’t read, I’ll teach you. 4.Organize the new words like this: Hair Long ,short Build Thin, heavy, medium build Height Tall, short,medium height 5. To finish 1a in Page 49. Learn to remember words on page49 I believe you can read the words now, next we learn to remember them in different ways as usual. Remember the words by looking at pictures. (设计意图:对学生来说,一定要让学生学会利用音标读单词,通过长期的练习让学生逐渐掌握这种方法。学生先自己认读单词,标注出较难的部分,再以两人一组或小组为单位解决遇到的困难。经过长期的练习,有些学生不用音标也能读出单词。作为老师一定要在课堂内多巡视,及时帮助英语上有困难的学生。总结描述头发,身材,身高的词语引导学生进入描述人物外貌,完成1a 加深对生词的印象。) Step2: To describe people’s looks 1.After remembering the important words,to describe people’s looks by talking about their height by showing some pictures in ppt, (设计意图:通过这两张ppt,学生学会如何描述人的身高,并用What does he look like? She is … (设计意图:通过此项活动,学生用两种人称进行问答。学会描述周围人物人物的身高。) (设计意图:用学生熟悉的明星,来练习,更能引起学生的兴趣。) Step3: 1. To describe people’s looks by talking about their build by showing some pictures in ppt, (设计意图:用学生熟悉的明星,来练习,更能引起学生的兴趣。但在练习过程中没有叫同学起来,考虑到学生对身材方面有所避讳。) Step4: To describe people’s looks by talking about their hair by showing some pictures in ppt, (设计意图:通过这两张ppt,学生学会如何描述人的头发,并用What does he/she look like? He/she is …问答。图片多为中外伟人。) (设计意图:描述头发的词较多,通过总结让学生再次感知。) Step5:Summary: (设计意图:通过总结本节课的内容,给学生一个总体认识,让学生再次感知本节课主要内容。) Step6:A poem (设计意图:通过这首诗,呈现本节课的情感目标,无论长相如何,要善待自己,努力过好每一天,祝愿每个人都健康,快乐!) Step7:Homework. (设计意图:本环节以写作的形式呈现,让学生通过完成作业复习巩固本节课所学内容。) |

教学反思:
本节课基本完成教学任务,学生配合较好,学生基本掌握了描述头发,体型,身高的词汇及句型。本节课我通过课程整合,没有安排教材的听力练习,但不足的是,时间分配不均以至于给练习头发部分的时间不够,并且基本以任务型教学为主,没有安排小组讨论等多种形式,仍让沿用的传统的教学方式。
