“玺”是我国权力文化的代表，有源远流长的历史，在古代被视为立国重器，被赋予“显赫”、“尊贵”、“盛大”等引申含意，得之则象征其“受命于天”；失之则表现其“气数已尽”。同时，“玺”又是旌功记绩的礼器，被赋予神圣的色彩，是文明的见证，也是文化的载体。

“玺”文为阴刻篆体“金鸡之冠”，与基础部分朱红色“玺”文相辉映，意喻此地为中国维度最高点，是名副其实的“金鸡之冠”；

柱身采用镜面不锈钢结合锻铜纹饰的制作方法，继承了中华历史文明，展现了“神州北极”的新面貌，同时，在阳光的照射下，光芒象征着漠河所特有的神奇天象“北极光”，

锻铜纹饰用传统的水纹进行修饰，在五行中北方属水，取滋润、积蓄之意，象征着龙江大地的母亲河“黑龙江”，正是“神奇北极光、悠悠黑龙江”的真实写照；
