雪萊：致拜倫十四行詩
SONNET TO
BYRON
（我恐怕這些詩句不會取悅你，但是）
如果我不那麼尊重你，
嫉妒就會扼殺快樂與歡欣，
把充斥我心靈的思想留給絕望和驚奇，
就像一條螻蚓，它的生命
可以分享一部分不可接近的東西，
標誌著你的創造物在造物主的意境
迅速而典雅上升為世界的完美。
但這就是我的尊敬，
你的詠才不能飛上他人（所攀沿）的山頂，
你的名聲也只祗是未出生時刻的皮影，
從傾羡的未來投射到時間的幕熒上，
為他不光彩的名字感動而抱憾。
