一 基数词

大于1 的数词后用复数名词

one and a half hours/one and a third miles.

基数词作主语，视为单数，一以上基数词代替可数名词时，作复数对待

socre 与dozen

 1) 与具体数字或several/many等连用时，均不加s

 several scores(F)     two dozens(F)

 2) 后跟名词时dozen不与of 连用，score可与of连用，也可不连用

 two score gees (T)    two scores of eggs (T)

 3) 若用在代词前或名词前有the/these/those+复数名词时，由于表示特定范围，此时均与of 连用

 two dozen/score of them/these(those) people/ the police

 4) 表不确定数目，均加s,均不与of 连用：scores of/dozens of(T)

二 序数词

 1.序数词前除用the,也可用a/an表“又一”“再一”

 He failed twice,then he tried a third time.

 2. 序数词前可加物主代词

 This is my first trip to America.

 3. 序数词作状语或某些特定结构，其前不用冠词
