一 人称代词

1 两个以上人称代词并列时的顺序：

 单数：按二、三、一人称的顺序

  复数：按一、二、三人称的顺序

 1) you and I   /  he(she) and I/ you ,he and I

 2) we and you/ you and they / we, you and they

二 物主代词要避免作；异类比较

 1) His house is larger than I (F)

 2) His house is larger than mine.(T)

三 指示代词 this/that/these/those/such/the same

 1 that可指代单数或不可数名词，those指代复数名词

 1) The climate of Guangzhou is much better than that of xi'an

 2) My seat was next to that of the mayor.

2 some 永远与the 连用

四 不定代词

 some及其合成词somebody/someone/something

 any及其合成词 anybody/anyone/anything

 no 及其合成词 nobody/no one/ nothing

 every及其合成词everybody/everyone/everything

其他还有:

one/the other/another/others

both/all/none/each/(a)few/(a) little.

either/neither

many/much

1.大都可以代替名词或形容词,作主语、宾、表、定等成分。但no,every 只作定语。none, others及其合成不定代词不作定语。all,both,each还可以作同位语。

 1) He told me a lot of other things that I can't remember now.(不可用other things)

 2) Not every student knows the importance of working hard at their lessons.

2.some/any; no/none; all /(the) other/either/neither可表单数概念，也可表复数概念。

 1) I read the article in some magzine.

3. some也可用于文句，表希望得到肯定答复或表请求、建议

   any 可用于肯定，表“无论什么”或“任何”

 1) Will you give me some paper?

 2) Would you like to buy some apples?

 2) You may come at any time you like.

 4) She is older than any other student in our class.

4. no=not a 或not any

 1) I have no money with me.

 2) There are no birds in the tree.

 注意：no 修饰表语，其意义往往相反，而 not 仅仅是一般的否定。

 1）He is no fool.

 2) He is not a fool.

5. none可指复数，也可指不可数，其谓语可用单数也可用复数

 Of all my friends, none are/is as clever as Tom.

但是：none but+复数名词作谓语，动词要用复数形式

 None but fools are interested in such things.

6. no/no one/ nobody/nothing不与of 连用，而none 可与of 连用

 1） None of these films are/is good.

 2) None of his performances was a failure.

7. none和no one 都是否定的，都只用在肯定句中

 1）None of them know me.(T)

 2) None of them do not know me.(F)

 3) Each of them knows me.(T)

 4) No one does not like the book.(F)

8. nothing常勇于回答What...?

   Nobody/No one用于回答Who...?

  None 用于回答How many/much...?

 1) What's on the desk?-----Nothing.

 2) Who is in the next room?----Nobody/No one.

 3) How many students were late today?----None.

 4) How much water is there in the bottle?----None.

9. each/every/all

 1) all可作主语、宾、表、同位；可修饰不可数名词或复数名词；做主语表整体时，用单数谓语。

All ( I) know is that he died three years ago.

Each可作主、宾、表、定、同位，强调的是“逐个”

  Every 只作定语

 Every boy likes toys.

 They give each a book.

 Each of them has learned how to play the piano.

 They each have a dictionary.

意义相当于many,用于修饰复数名词的短语

 quite a few/ a good (great) many/ a great number of

  意义相当于much 用于修饰不可数名词的短语

 quite a little/ a great deal of/a large ammount of

  既能修饰可数名词又能修饰不可数名词的有

Pleanty of/a lot of/lots of/ a large quantity of/ large quantities of

疑问代词

what/who/ which/后可加ever用于加强语气,不同于whatever/whoever/whichever
