Day 1

5 am~6 am

The story happened in the great city of Washington, the capital of the United States of America. It takes 168 hours (a week).

The air of the capital was clean but silent when the sun had just risen up and warmed the land. Everyone was dreaming in their lovely beds. Even the president was still sleeping. But a man woke up then.

He was Rhine Moses. The first sight you saw this name, you may not sure whether he was an American or European, or maybe even not a human being because his name was very strange. It was the name of a river in Europe! But if I told you that he was born in Britain, then you got to be shocked. He was born in Britain but he came to America when he was 5 years old. His family was actually Austrians. They had a grand story about how they came to Switzerland and went to Italy and Britain and at last came to America. He was born on May 8, when long ago the Nazi was destroyed and the Europeans came to freedom.

Rhine Moses now lived in the start of the age of superheroes. The human beings had already changed and got superhero-like people. Rhine was a part of them. He worked for FBI once, and then he joined ISU, the International Security Unit, working for the UN. But now he wanted to quit. He became a poet and an explorer. He learned the cultures of other countries. He believed that only peace could save the world in the wars. But also he still got the intelligence to fight against the terrorists. He was born for that.

Maybe he knew what that day would happen, so he woke up earlier than before. A hand started to knock at the hard iron door.

“Who is it?” Rhine asked.

“Phew, you are still alive, Rhine Moses,” said a voice. Rhine recognized he was his old friend, another FBI inspector John Di Angles.

“Oh, John, what is the matter? You know that I quit.”

“Rhine, really,” said John, “a gentleman called Mr. Mississippi wants to see you. His name is as strange as you! Ouch!” It seemed that Mr. Mississippi hit John’s head.

“Ok, hope Mississippi will be kind to me,” joked Rhine and then opened the door.

“Well, Luke, this is Mr. Rhine Moses,” said John.

“Bon Jour. Mr. Moses, I’m Luke Mississippi,” said Luke. He talked like a French.

“Bon Jour, Mr. Mississippi, so…” Rhine tried to find a word to say, but Luke stopped him.

“I think we should go straight to the topic,” he said, “I knew that you worked for ISU once, so I hope you would come back.”

“I don’t think I will go back to the life of fighting the terrorists for this century,” said Rhine in a cold voice. “But we want you to go back to ISU. There is something important. The International Security Unit is waiting for you,” said Luke.

“I hope it’s not a big problem,” said Rhine, “but I would go back to ISU.”

“So what are you waiting for?” said Luke.

They went out of the house and got down to the just-woken-up Washington. John got into a car. It took them a long time to get to the headquarters. The car came to a building. A man with a symbol of ISU came. He checked the Mississippi’s card and let them to get in. Mississippi gave Rhine a card of ISU.

The ISU’s centre was different from the one Rhine was working. It was under a building. Inside was a large working place. It had 4 entrances. Everything here was clear. It was well planned.

“So you have to build the centre underground now?” asked Rhine.

“Yes, or it will be easily under attack,” said Luke, “this is our director, Mr. Tigris.”

“Nice to meet you, Mr. Rhine,” said Tigris, “it’s glad to see that you return to ISU. You can get your work back.”

“So why do you call me to help ISU?” asked Rhine.

“The terrorists will light up bombs in the city of Washington in 4 hours. This is a disaster because we don’t know where the bombs are and how strong they are. The terrorists told the president that the way to stop this is to listen to the terrorists to pick up a phone at a post box. That phone can’t be traced and now the terrorist said that the president needs to release Chris Mane in 1 hour. He was a terrorist leader.”

“Chris Mane, he is an Italian killer, right” said Rhine.

“Yes,” said Tigris, “and he is also a terrorist working for a man called Durza.”

“Hm, he used a name of a shade,” said Rhine, “let’s start this work and stop this mess.”

5:20

Rhine went straight to his new office. Just a second later, Jane Walter, a computer officer called him. She told him that Tigris found out the place where the terrorist sent the message.

“No,” said Rhine to Tigris, “there must be a trap.”

“Why?” asked Louie Johnson. He was the out service director, “It’s a great chance! Maybe we can find the fingerprint inside!”

“No,” said Rhine again, “don’t you know? The terrorists want us to find that place! There must be a button for a bomb! If we get inside, then the bomb will be lit! We even don’t know where the bomb is! We don’t know how much disaster it will make! Wake up!”

“Then what do you suppose to do?” asked Tigris.

“Mr. Tigris! The terrorists sent a message that after 2 hours they will start a bomb for each 15 minutes! We have to be quick!” shouted Jane. It was really a fast work. The ISU found the place where the letter was sent. Rhine said this is a trap again.

“So you should see if you can find a way to stop the bomb far away here!” he said.

“But the problem is we don’t know what kind of bomb it is!” said Johnson.

“Mr. Tigris! A new letter from the terrorist! The last one is the strangest one,” Jane shouted again, “and the place that sent this letter was a place in New York.”

“Check who got into the building and when he got out,” said Rhine.

“I checked this out,” said Jo, she was the Computer System director, “I found him. I’m checking who he is. He got into the building 2 minutes before the letter was sent and left the seconds later. Oh, I got it. He’s Tim Madrid. He is just 2 months old and now he is a Spanish.”

“Why do you say ‘now’?” asked Jane.

“Because he changed his name a lot of times,” answered Rhine, “check who was ‘dead’ before but his face is similar to him.”

“It’s John Paul Pio,” said Jane, “only two days old, an Italian. He got to be well planned and so he changed his name as fast as he could. And also he got a really special pope name.”

“Someone got to hack into the government system so he could change his name so fast,” said Rhine.

“I’m sure,” said Jane, “someone hacked into our computer system just two days ago and used this to hack into the other ones.”

“I checked out more. He is Joe Philip. Joe is just 7 days old. In those seven days a mysterious guy killed 15 guards and got 200 thousand dollars from the bank. He is also Michel Mali. Only 8 days old in Mali. When he used that name, 21 hostages were killed by a killer in Mali and he took away 980 thousand dollars. The best news is he bought sixty guns in New York seven days ago. The seller is Sicily Mark. The FBI found his head on the east river. One of his arms was found in the Hudson river.”

“Anything else? He doesn’t look like a baby that is only two months and 17 days old,” joked Rhine.

“I checked out that he is David Pope,” said Jane, “a British and only 50 days old and killed 71 people but took nothing.”

“He took away the clues that showed he or his boss were criminals. He’s got to be a mafia. I need a rest.”

“Are you alright?” asked Tigris.

“This is really fast,” said Rhine, “I can’t handle much. This is not solving a case but a war against the terrorists.”

“I know,” said Tigris, “but it’s our job. Maybe it would go even faster.”

5:55

“There is a big problem. There is no clue of that man,” said Jo, “the 71 people he killed had got ten cosmetologists. He got to change his face and killed the people who changed his face.”

“Wait,” said Jane, “there is no Tim Madrid now. But there is Luke David Marco in Switzerland, a Brian Spa Oz, a Jojo Paster, a Paul Norway and a Louie Prince. He wanted us to feel strange. Wait, where is Johnson?”

“I’ve just come back from the toilet. Have I missed anything?” he asked.

“No, but the strange man changed his name again,” said Rhine.

6 am~7 am

“Let’s check where the man went to after these things,” said Rhine.

“I checked out,” said Jo, “he went into a house and got into a taxi. But it was mixed with a lot of taxis. We can’t find it out soon.”

“He got off near the Empire State Building. He got inside and disappeared,” said Jane, “but a man with a scarf on his mouth, a hat on top and sun glasses went out soon.”

“Find where he goes,” said Rhine.

“He went out of New York,” said Jo, “and his name just disappeared right now. He’s Abraham Philly Kensington or Marco Sword or maybe Michael Brussels Tin. Wait, Marco Sword, why we didn’t find him? He’s only 200 days old and ‘died’. When he is ‘alive’ 34 people disappeared. But there is no clue about him.”

“I found a man who looks similar to him,” said Jane, “but his nose is shorter, his hair is shorter and there are more difference. But he disappeared when the man whose name was David Pope disappeared. His data was cleaned by a hacker. The only thing is that he was James Mc Las Hill. He was 37 years old then.”

“Let’s check if he has any relationship with Durza,” said Rhine.

“Wait,” said Jane, “all his data disappeared!”

“News here!” shouted Brian Brooklyn, an outside security worker, “ten of our inspectors were killed on the way to ISU! And one of them was injured.”

“Rhine,” said Tigris, “come here, I need to talk to you.”

He patted Rhine’s shoulder. Rhine felt that he was a superhero too.

“Mr. Louie Lynn, the old director of ISU, he may be dead right a second before…”

Rhine was shocked. Lynn was the old director of ISU when he worked here. He really trusted him.

“And he said that you are the only one I could trust when the ISU is in danger,” said Tigris, “and now I recognized that there is a spy here, right in the ISU. I need to meet a man who has the clue of who the spy is.”

“But that would be very dangerous,” said Rhine,
