Unit7 Let’s clean up

Teaching aims:

1. Ss be able to know the new words :“a desk ” ” a chair ” ”a table ” “a door ” “a window ”

2. Ss be able to know the new sentence pattern:”Clean the…, please.”

3. Put the moral education in the language study.

The key points and difficult points:

1. To know the new words: “a desk ” ” a chair ” ”a table ” “a door ” “a window ”

2. To know the new sentence pattern:”Clean the…, please.”

Teaching aids:

PPT, pictures, tape.

Teaching procedures:

Step1 Warm up

1.  Let’s enjoy a song:《Clean the chair》

2.  Play a game: Review the words which they learned before.

Step2 Presentation

1.       T: Look, this is my candy house, is it beautiful? ( Show a picture of a house )

         Ss: Yes.

          T: Are you hungry?

         Ss: Yes.

         ( Pair work ) T:Now, Miss Wu has so many food, do you want to eat?

         ( T Shows some pictures of food, and let Ss use these two sentence patterns:“Have some…,please.” “Thank you.”to pair work)

         e.g.  S1: Have some sandwiches, please.

                 S2: Thank you.  (Review the sentence patterns.)

2.       T: Now, welcome to my house. Is my house clean?(Show the picture of my house)

         Ss: No.

          T: Let’s clean up! ( According to the words: tea, read to teach the word clean, then teach the sentence. )

         T: Today, we are going to learn Unit7 Let’s clean up! ( Show the title )

        (Read the title after the teacher, then read one by one)

3.       T: Look, This is my study. What’s this?

          Teach: a desk (Read after the teacher and spell it, then read one by one)

          Teach the sentence: Clean the desk, please. ( Little train )

          Let’s chant:  A desk, a desk,

                                This is a desk.

                                Clean, clean,

                                Clean the desk, please.

4.       1) T: What’s this?

              Teach: a chair ( Read after the teacher and spell it , then read one by one)

              Use the picture of the dirty chair to teach the sentence: Clean the chair, please.

              Let’s chant:  Clean the chair,

              Clean the chair!

              Clean the chair, please.

              OK! OK! OK!

              ( Boys and girls read the chant together first, then let the boys read the three sentences above and the girls read the last sentence .)

           2) Show the pictures of three chairs, then show the sentence: Clean the chairs, please.

               Let’s chant:  Chairs, chairs,

                                      They are chairs.

                                      Clean, clean,

                                      Clean the chairs, please.

5.       T: Is this a desk? ( Show the picture of the table )  Ss: No.

          Teach: a table ( Read after the teacher and spell it, the read one by one )

          Teach the sentence: Clean the table, please. ( Read after the teacher )

          Let’s play a game: Blow the balloon. ( Let the Ss read the sentence:Clean the table, please.Then the balloon will change according to the voice of the students. )

6.       T: What’s this? ( Show the picture of the door )  

          Teach: a door ( Read after the teacher and spell it, then read one by one )

          T: Is the door clean? 

          Teach: Clean the door, please. ( Read after the teacher )

          Use the same way to teach the word: window and the sentence: Clean the window, please.

7.       Work in pairs

     A: Clean the …, please.

     B: OK!

Step3 Learn story time

1.       Listen and judge: What do they clean?

2.       Watch the cartoon and answer the questions

Q1: What does Liu Tao clean?

Q2: What does dad clean?

3.       Listen and repeat

4.       Read the story after the teacher

5.       Read together

6.       Let’s act

7.       Let’s say: What do you do at home?

Step4 Summary

     当你想让别人打扫卫生时,你可以说:Clean the…, please.

Step5 Homework

1.       Read and imitate the new words and the story on www.17zuoye.com .

2.       Act out the story with your classmates.
