Since I have so much
reading to do for Law and Psychology, I pretty much spent all of my
time studying in the computer lab. The reason why I chose computer
lab to Widener is that I don't have to carry my laptop all the way
to here: the huge Mac can provide anything I want. Also, the
air-conditioning is better here than in Widener. In fact I need to
wear sweatshirt to keep myself warm. Almost forgot to tell you
this, I bough a Harvard sweatshirt in some shop in Harvard Square
for 27 dollars, which is warm and economical. It happens to be
really useful when I'm in somewhere like computer lab, and I also
wear it when I'm having classes. Jenny laughed at me and said that
it was as if I was preparing for winter. Well, she's from Canada.
I'm not going to argue with her.
The computer lab is
usually noisier than the reading room in Widener, which is not a
good thing. People usually cluster together to talk about homework,
so are me, Jenny and Bianca.
Tonight I was still
sitting in front of the huge Mac, and then there came a guy. It was
pretty crowded the time he came in, and there's only one seat left,
which was the seat beside me, so he sat down. I saw him taking out
the green textbook for Biomedical Ethics, and I started to talk to
him. Since Jenny and Bianca have exams tomorrow for that course, I
knew that he had lots of work to do, and I said "good luck". Then
we both went back to study.
Then my Facebook flashed
and I saw a guy I'd known on Facebook for a long time asked if I
was in the computer lab. I said yes and asked if he was here
too.
Then I noticed the guy
sat beside me watched over and smiled at what I'd just typed,
saying: "That's me."
Can't really believe
this.
Facebook is all so
fake.
But it was a funny
encounter after all.
P.s, he's from Saudi
Arabia, which to me (someone who is from China) is pretty
cool.
All for today, see
u.
