nice and 及其它

    nice and是英语口语中的固定搭配, 它相当于一个副词, 作“很”，“挺”，“非常”解，用来加强其后的形容词或副词的程度及语气。类似nice这种用法，能用于and之前的形容词不多，它们主要是big, bright, good, fine, lovely和rare等。这种结构之后多接令人愉快的词语，有时也可接令人不愉快的词语，一般用于非正式场合。如：

The air today is nice and clean.今天的空气真清新。

The car is going nice and fast .这辆汽车跑得挺快。

He is big and busy.他忙得不可开交。

Mike was up bright and early.迈克起得很早。

She got good and angry.她气得要命。

It’s fine and warm in the room.房间里很暖和。

The road is good and long.这条路非常长。

It’s a lovely and cool day today.今天的天气很凉爽。

I’m rare and hungry.我饥肠辘辘。

You will be rare and busy now.你现在太忙了。

The grass is fine and tall.草长得老高老高。
