后天一早，就要去深圳参加中国杯了（www.chncup.com)。Martin教练为比赛组织方写了一篇英文的“水手博客”，和大家分享：

Sanya Yomovo Club was started on May 1, 2011, with the idea of introducing sailing to ordinary folk and creating interest in the sport from the bottom up. Every Sunday afternoon beginners and improvers alike have taken to the waters of Sanya Bay to enjoy themselves, although some got seasick too.

A crew interested in racing has gradually emerged, although together we have never actually raced anyone but ourselves. With the China Cup approaching, we thought some more practice was needed. So we started early and finished late:

When we got tired we found some extra help and we never gave up, even when things got a bit rough:

Somehow we got the spinnaker up (and down again) and even found time at home to learn our knots.

One day we thought nature had been a bit unkind, but then we realized that racing boats need a clean bottom. We call this technique “typhoon cleaning”.

So after a lot of effort, we now have just one more official practice session before moving to Shenzhen. If we can stop arriving at the start line either ten seconds too early or one minute late, we will be ready to give the 5th China Cup our best shot.

For sure we are going to enjoy ourselves in the true Corinthian spirit, but our ISAF rulebook and a red protest flag are packed just in case. Having fun is a serious business!
