—— 亚当和夏娃与撒旦的冲突（上）

第三十一章

 

第三天，他们让自己在宝藏洞里感到舒服些。

They make themselves more comfortable in the Cave of Treasures on the third day.

 

1.   这些事后，神对亚当说，“你求我从花园里给你让你感到安慰的东西，我把象征着安慰的这三样给你；因为你相信我，相信我和你的盟约。

After these things God said unto Adam, “Thou didst ask of Me something from the garden, to be comforted therewith, and I have given thee these three tokens as a consolation to thee; that thou trust in Me and in My covenant with thee.

 

神第八次向亚当重复盟约。

 

2.   我会来拯救你；王者们要给肉身的我，金，乳香和没药；金象征着我的国度；乳香象征着我的神力；没药象征着我的苦难和死亡。

For I will come and save thee; and kings shall bring Me when in the flesh, gold, incense and myrrh; gold as a token of my kingdom; incense as a token of My divinity; and myrrh as a token of My suffering and of My death.

 

神再次作出对救世主的预言，届时，世上的王们要以金、乳香、没药为礼物，献给为人身的他。

 

3.   亚当啊，在洞穴里把它们放在你身旁；金会在夜里发光照亮你；乳香会让你闻到馨香之气；没药，可以在你悲伤的时候给你安慰。”

But, O Adam, put these by thee in the cave; the gold that it may shed light over thee by night; the incense, that thou smell its sweet savour; and the myrrh, to comfort thee in thy sorrow.”

 

4.   亚当听完神的这些话，就在神面前敬拜他。他和夏娃敬拜神，感谢神，因为神仁慈地对待他们。

When Adam heard these words from God, he worshipped before Him. He and Eve worshipped Him and gave Him thanks, because He had dealt mercifully with them.

 

5.   神就命令三位天使，米迦勒，加百列和拉斐尔，把他们取来的交给亚当。他们就照做，一个接着一个。

Then God commanded the three angels, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, each to bring what he had brought, and give it to Adam. And they did so, one by one.

 

6.   神又命令沙利叶和撒拉菲尔托起亚当和夏娃，把他们从山顶带下来，送回宝藏洞里。

And God commanded Suriyel and Salathiel to bear up Adam and Eve, and bring them down from the top of the high mountain, and to take them to the Cave of Treasures.

 

天使沙利叶（Angel Suriyel），“Suriyel”是某些死海古卷的拼法，也可拼写成“Sariel”。亚拉姆语的意思为：“神的命令”（Command of God）。在犹太传统记载中，他是七位圣洁天使长之一（以诺一书）。

 

天使撒拉菲尔（Angel Salathiel），希伯来语意思：“对神的祷告”（the Prayer of God），同样也是犹太传统记载中的天使。

 

7.   他们就把金放在洞穴的南面，乳香放在东面，没药放在西面。因为洞口是向北的。

There they laid the gold on the south said of the cave, the incense on the eastern side, and the myrrh on the western side. For the mouth of the cave was on the north side.

 

8.   天使们安慰了亚当和夏娃，便离开。

     The angels then comforted Adam and Eve, and departed.

 

9.   金是七十杆；乳香，十二磅，；没药，三磅。

The gold was seventy rods; the incense, twelve pounds; and the myrrh, three pounds.

 

“Rod”（杆）是一种用来描述长度的测量单位。中世纪的英国农夫用尖头木棍赶牛，“Rod”（杆）也就是木棍的长度，从6世纪开始作为测量长度的单位，1 rod等于5.0292米。

 

1 Pound（磅）＝0.9071斤  

 

也就是说，金是三百五十米；乳香，近十一斤；没药，近三斤。宝藏洞究竟有多大？

 

10.  这些一直留在亚当的宝藏屋里；因此它也叫做“隐蔽地”。有些口译者也称它为“宝藏洞”，原因是义人葬在里面。

These remained by Adam in the House of Treasures; therefore was it called “of concealment.” But other interpreters say it was called the “Cave of Treasures,” by reason of the bodies of righteous men that were in it.

 

后来，亚当和夏娃住在另一处洞穴里，而宝藏洞则成为祷告的地方，亚当和他的后裔死后也被安葬在那里。

 

 

11.  在亚当离开花园的第三天，神把这三样给他，象征着救世主必在地下停留三天。

These three things did God give to Adam, on the third day after he had come out of the garden, in token of the three days the Lord should remain in the heart of the earth.

 

12.  这三样陪伴着亚当，夜里给他光；日里让他的悲伤稍许减缓。

And these three things, as they continued with Adam in the cave, gave him light by night; and by day they gave him a little relief from his sorrow.

 

 

第三十二章

 

亚当和夏娃进入水里祷告。

Adam and Eve go into the water to pray.

 

1.   亚当和夏娃留在宝藏洞里直到第七天；他们既没有吃地的果实，也没有喝水。

And Adam and Eve remained in the Cave of Treasures until the seventh day; they neither ate the fruit of the earth, nor drank water.

    

2.   第八天的天明，亚当对夏娃说，“夏娃啊，我们求神给我们些花园的东西，他就派天使给了我们渴望的。

And when it dawned on the eighth day, Adam said to Eve, “O Eve, we prayed God to give us somewhat from the garden, and He sent His angels who brought us what we had desired.

 

3.   现在，起身，让我们到曾看到的水边，让我们站在里面，向神祷告，求他再次怜悯我们，带我们回花园；或者给我们些什么；或者带我们去其它的地，给我们安慰。”

But now, arise, let us go to the sea of water we saw at first, and let us stand in it, praying that God will again be favourable to us and take us back to the garden; or give us something; or that He will give us comfort in some other land than this in which we are.”

 

4.   于是他们离开洞穴，来到曾跳入的水边，亚当对夏娃说：

Then Adam and Eve came out of the cave, went and stood on the border of the sea in which they had before thrown themselves, and Adam said to Eve:

 

5.   “从这里下去，到四十日结束的时候再出来，到时我会来找你。要用火热的心和甜美的声音向神祷告，求神原谅我们。

“Come, go down into this place, and come not out of it until the end of forty days, when I shall come to thee. And pray to God with fervent heart and a sweet voice, to forgive us.

 

从亚当和夏娃离开花园的第8天开始计算，在水里祷告40日，也就是直到他们离开花园第47天的结束为止。

 

6.   我会在另一边的水里，同你一样祷告。”

And I will go to another place, and go down into it, and do like thee.”

 

7.   夏娃就按照亚当吩咐的，进到水里。亚当也进到水里；他们站着祷告，乞求耶和华原谅他们的过犯，让他们恢复到最初的状态。

Then Eve went down into the water, as Adam had commanded her. Adam also went down into the water; and they stood praying; and besought the Lord to forgive them their offence, and to restore them to their former state.

 

8.   他们就这样站着祷告，直到第三十五天的结束。

And they stood thus praying, unto the end of the five and thirty days.

 

离亚当和夏娃完成他们自己对神的承诺（在水里祷告40天）还有5天。

 

第三十三章

 

撒旦对“明亮之光！”的虚假承诺。

Satan falsely promises the “bright light!”

 

1.   仇恨一切美好的撒旦，在洞穴里寻找亚当和夏娃，虽然他已经仔细寻找，却找不到。

But Satan, the hater of all good, sought them in the cave, but found them not, although he searched diligently for them.

 

2.   当他发现他们站在水里祷告，就对自己说，“亚当和夏娃站在水里乞求神原谅他们的过犯，恢复他们原本的状态，脱离我的掌控。

But he found them standing in the water praying and thought within himself, “Adam and Eve are thus standing in that water beseeching God to forgive them their transgression, and to restore them to their former estate, and to take them from under my hand.

 

为什么亚当和夏娃现在归于撒旦的掌控？

罗马书6:16    你们岂不知道，你们献上自己作奴仆，顺从谁，就作谁的奴仆吗？

Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as salves for obedience, you are slaves to him whom you obey;

 

神说，那树的果子不可以吃；化身成蛇的撒旦却说，那树的果子可以吃。听谁的话，就归属于谁的掌控，选择权在我们。因此，在亚当和夏娃以自己的自由意愿选择听信撒旦的话，吃下果实的那一刻，也就等于选择更换了主人，归属了撒旦。既然归属了撒旦，就要受其掌控。

 

3.   所以我要把他们从水里骗出来，让他们无法履行他们的誓言。”

But I will deceive them so that they shall come out of the water, and not fulfill their vow.”

 

4.   于是那仇恨一切美好的，并没有去找亚当，反而去了夏娃那里，化身为神的天使，充满赞美和喜悦，对她说：

Then the hater of all good, went not to Adam, but be went to Eve, and took the form of an angel of God, praising and rejoicing, and said to her:

 

5.   “愿你平安！要快乐，要喜悦！神已经怜悯了你们，他派我去找亚当。我带给他救赎的喜讯，他已经被光充满，恢复到原本的模样。

“Peace be unto thee! Be glad and rejoice! God is favourable unto you, and He sent me to Adam. I have brought him the glad tidings of salvation, and of his being filled with bright light as he was at first.

 

6.   亚当，在他复原的喜悦里，派我来找你，要你来我这里，我就可以把和他同样的光也赐予你。

And Adam, in his joy for his restoration, has sent me to thee, that thou come to me, in order that I crown thee with light like him.

 

7.   他对我说，‘对夏娃说；如果她不跟你走，就告诉她我们在高山顶的迹像；神是如何派他的天使送我们回宝藏洞；又如何把金放在南面；乳香放在东面；没药放在西面。’现在，跟他走。”

And he said to me, ‘Speak unto Eve; if she does not come with thee, tell her of the sign when we were on the top of the mountain; how God sent His angels who took us and brought us to the Cave of Treasure; and laid the gold on the southern side; incense, on the eastern side; and myrrh on the western side.’ Now come to him.”

 

撒旦蒙蔽人的伎俩就是用事实（有关神的／有关已发生的）参杂谎言，因为有部分事实存在，所以更容易让人轻易相信。

 

8.   夏娃听了撒旦的这番话，非常高兴。以为撒旦的外表是真实的，就从水里出来了。

When Eve heard these words from him, she rejoiced greatly. And thinking that Satan’s appearance was real, she came out of the sea.

 

夏娃在同一个地方连续跌倒2次，同一个过犯一犯再犯。神对亚当说不可以吃知善恶树的果实，亚当向夏娃传达了神的诫命；可是当化身蛇的撒旦说可以吃的时候，夏娃轻易听信，忘了亚当的话，忘了神的诫命。被赶出花园之后，亚当要夏娃和他在水里祷告，叮嘱要到三十日结束的时候才可出来，到时他会去找她。可是当化身神天使的撒旦要夏娃中断祷告，从水中出来，夏娃又再次轻易相信，忘了要等到三十日的结束，忘了亚当会来找她，忘了要履行对神的承诺，彻底忘了亚当的话。人怎可错得如此不费力气？

 

9.   撒旦走在前面，她跟在后面，直到他们接近亚当。撒旦就从夏娃面前隐身，她再也看不到他。

He went before, and she followed him until they came to Adam. Then Satan hid himself from her, and she saw him no more.

 

10.  来找亚当的夏娃站在水边，对神的原谅感到无限喜悦。

She then came and stood before Adam, who was standing by the water and rejoicing in God’s forgiveness.

 

11. 当她呼唤亚当的时候，亚当转身，一看到夏娃便痛哭，击打着自己的前胸；在他极度悲伤的痛苦里，亚当沉入水中。

And as she called to him, he turned round, found her there and wept when he saw her, and smote upon his breast; and from the bitterness of his grief, he sank into the water.

 

12. 神看着亚当和他的苦痛，看着他即将断气。从天而来的神的话语，把他从水中扶起，对他说，“上岸去夏娃那里。”亚当就来到夏娃面前对她说，“是谁让你来这里的？”

But God looked upon him and upon his misery, and upon his being about to breathe his last. And the Word of God came from heaven, raised him out of the water, and said unto him, “Go up the high bank to Eve.” And when he came up to Eve he said unto her, “Who said to thee come hither”

 

13.  夏娃就告诉亚当显现在她面前又给她印记的天使的对话。

Then she told him the discourse of the angel who had appeared unto her and had given her a sign.

 

14.  亚当十分悲伤，让夏娃知道那是撒旦。他就带着夏娃一起回到洞穴里。

But Adam grieved, and gave her to know it was Satan. He then took her and they both returned to the cave.

 

15.  这是他们第二次进入水中，离开花园七天后发生的事。

These things happened to them the second time they went down to the water, seven days after their coming out of the garden.

 

16.  他们在水里没进食三十五天；他们离开花园已经四十二天。

They fasted in the water thirty-five days; altogether forty-two days since they had left the garden.

 

这里英文写成“Fasted”禁食，其实这样翻译是不准确的。“禁食”是宗教里一种所谓属灵的训练，就是在一段特定时间内不吃，或者不吃、不喝，把时间用在神身上，譬如：禁食祷告。

 

人首先要知道什么是“食”，才能禁“食”；但是，刚从伊甸园出来的亚当和夏娃根本不知道什么是食物，也不知道为什么要吃食物，只是单纯地感到饿和口渴，只是没进食而已，和“禁食”的宗教习俗无关。

 

 

第三十四章

 

亚当回忆夏娃的被造。他恳切祈求吃的和喝的。

Adam recalls the creation of Eve. He eloquently appeals for food and drink.

 

1.   第四十三天早晨，亚当和夏娃从洞穴里出来，悲伤地哭泣。因为没进食和祷告，因为对过犯的沉痛哀伤，他们身体消瘦，被口渴和饥饿灼烧。

And on the morning of the forty-third day, they came out of the cave, sorrowful and weeping. Their bodies were lean, and they were parched from hunger and thirst, from fasting and praying, and from their heavy sorrow on account of their transgression.

 

听信撒旦，违背神的诫命，被赶出花园，是第一个过犯；听信撒旦，终止祷告，无法履行对神的承诺，是第二个过犯。

 

2.   离开洞穴后，他们登上花园西面的山。

And when they had come out of the cave they went up the mountain to the west of the garden.

 

3.   他们站着祷告，乞求神宽恕他们的罪。

There they stood and prayed and besought God to grant them forgiveness of their sins.

 

4.   祷告过后，亚当开始恳求神，说，“我的耶和华我的神，我的创造者啊，你命令四元素聚集在一起，它们就按照你的指令聚集在了一起。

And after their prayer Adam began to entreat God, saying, “O my Lord my God, and my Creator, thou didst command the four elements to be gathered together, and they were gather together by Thine order.

 

中世纪（5-15世纪）相信世界物质组成只有四种元素，分别为土、空气、水和火。

 

 

5.   然后你伸出手，用其中的一元素，地上的土，造了我；你在星期五的第三个小时带我进入花园，在洞穴里，你告诉了我这一切。

Then Thou spreadest Thy hand and didst create me out of one element, that of dust of the earth; and Thou didst bring me into the garden at the third hour, on a Friday, and didst inform me of it in the cave.

 

虽然这里说，神在星期五第三个小时带亚当进伊甸园，但我个人的理解依旧为：神6天造万物的“1天”不可能是24小时。如果神在第六天的第1个小时造野兽、飞鸟；第3个小时造亚当，把他带入伊甸园，又在同个小时把所有的野兽、飞鸟带到他面前让他命名，最后，还在第这个小时要结束的时候造了夏娃。这一系列的工作不可能在我们定义的1小时内完成，单单亚当给动物命名就无法在1小时内完成。所以，我还是选择相信，神造万物的6天，每天其实是1000年（根据神对五天半后解救亚当的解释），那么，这里的1小时其实也就大约是41.67年。

 

摩西五经里的希伯来小时是根据以色列的12个支派所设立的，也就是12小时制。新的一天在日落时开始，而不是午夜。用日落到日出的时间除以12，就得到夜的12个小时里，每个小时的长度；同样的，再用日出到日落的时间除以12，就得到日的12个小时里，每个小时的长度。由于四季日与夜长短的不同，希伯来小时的长短也随之不同，并不是我们以为的60分钟。

 

希伯来的一星期为7天，从星期天开始，到星期六（安息日－Shabbat）结束；因此，神在第六天（星期五）造人，第七天（星期六）休息。

 

6.   最初，我不知何为昼夜，因为我有光明的本性；我里面的光也没有离我而去，所以我不知何为昼夜。

Then, at first, I knew neither night nor day, for I had a bright nature; neither did the light in which I lived ever leave me to know night or day.

 

7.   耶和华啊，在你造我的第三个小时，你把在星期五第一个小时造的所有野兽，狮子，鸵鸟，天上的飞鸟，地上爬行的，带到我面前。

Then, again, O Lord, in that third hour in which Thou didst create me, Thou brought to me all beasts, and lions, and ostriches, and fowls of the air, and all things that move in the earth, which Thou hadst created at the first hour before me of the Friday.

 

8.   你的旨意是让我给它们命名，一个接一个，起适合的名字。你也给了我理解和知识，一颗纯净的心以及从你而来的正确思想，这样我就可以按照你的想法给它们命名。

And Thy will was that I should name them all, one by one, with a suitable name. But Thou gavest me understanding and knowledge, and a pure heart and a right mind from Thee, that I should name them after Thine own mind regarding the naming of them.

 

9.   神啊，你让它们顺服于我，命令它们一个都不可偏离我，按照你的诫命，我得到了对它们的掌控权。可现在，它们全部都疏远我。

O God, Thou madest them obedient to me, and didst order that not one of them break from my sway, according to Thy commandment, and to the dominion which Thou hast given me over them. But now they are all estranged from me.

 

10. 在你造我的星期五的第三个小时，你给了我有关那树的命令，叫我不可靠近，不可吃上面的果实；你在花园对我说，‘你吃的那一刻，你必死。’

Then it was in that third hour of Friday, in which Thou didst create me, and didst command me concerning the tree, to which I was neither to draw near, nor to eat thereof; for Thou sadist to me in the garden, “When thou eatest of it, of death thou shalt die.’

 

11.  如果你真是按照所说的那样惩罚我，在那一刻，我已经死了。

And if Thou hadst punished me as Thou sadist, with death, I should have died that very moment.

 

吃果实的那一刻，亚当和夏娃的确是死了，失去了光明的本性，由属灵的变成有实质肉身属肉体的，死去的是他们的灵。

 

12.  此外，当你给我有关那树的命令，不可靠近也不可吃其果实，夏娃还没有和我在一起；你还没有造她，还没有把她带到我身边；她并没有从你那里听到这命令。

Moreover, when Thou commandedst me regarding the tree, I was neither to approach nor to cat thereof, Eve was not with me; Thou hadst not Yet created her, neither hadst Thou yet taken her out of my side; nor had she yet heard this order from Thee.

 

13.  在星期五的第三个小时结束的时候，耶和华啊，你让我沉睡，我就陷入熟睡中。

Then, at the end of the third hour of that Friday, O Lord, Thou didst cause a slumber and a sleep to come over me, and I slept, and was overwhelmed in sleep.

 

14.  你从我身上取了根肋骨，以我的形象和样式造了她。随后我醒了；当我看到她并知道她是谁的时候，我说，‘这是我的骨中骨，肉中肉；因此她要被称为女人。’

     Then Thou didst draw a rib out of my side, and created it after my own similitude and image. Then I awoke; and when I saw her and knew who she was, I said, ‘This is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; henceforth she shall be called woman.’

 

夏娃是来自于亚当身上的肋骨，即使这里说，夏娃是以亚当的形象和样式造的，但亚当本身的形象就是神的形象，所以还是与神以自己形象造人的真理不冲突。

 

创世纪2:23    亚当说，这［是］我的骨中骨，肉中肉。她要被称为女人，因为她是从男人身上取来的。

                  And Adam said, This [is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

 

15.     因你的善意，神啊，你让我沉睡，就立即把夏娃从我身上取出，所以，我没看到她是如何被造的；也不能见证，我的耶和华啊，你的恩慈和荣耀是多么伟大，多么让人敬畏。

It was of Thy good will, O God, that Thou brought a slumber and a sleep over me, and that Thou didst forthwith bring Eve out of my side, until she was out, so that I did not see how she was made; neither could I witness, O my Lord, how awful and great are Thy goodness and glory.

 

16.  因你的善意，耶和华啊，你给了我们有光明本性的身体，你让我们两个合一；给了我们你的恩典，让我们充满圣灵的赞美；我们既不饿也不渴，不知道何为悲伤，何为无力承受；没有痛苦，不需进食，没有疲倦。

And of Thy goodwill, O Lord, Thou madest us both with bodies of a bright nature, and Thou madest us two, one; and Thou gavest us Thy grace, and didst fill us with praises of the Holy Spirit; that we should be neither hungry nor thirsty, nor know what sorrow is, nor yet faintness of heart; neither suffering, fasting, nor weariness.

 

神最初造的人是怎样的？有着光明的本性，有身体却没有形，眼睛能看到属灵的世界，不受五种感官的限制，不饿、不渴、不累，不知何为恐惧战栗、何为痛苦折磨，不知何为日夜、何为行走…… 这究竟是怎样的创造？只能说，生为肉身，生于这个有形世界的我们是想象不到的。

 

17.  但现在，神啊，自从我们违背了你的诫命，触犯了你的法则，你把我们带入这陌生的地，让痛苦，衰弱，饥渴临到我们。

But now, O God, since we transgressed Thy commandment and broke Thy law, Thou hast brought us out into a strange land, and has caused suffering, and faintness, hunger and thirst to come upon us.

 

18.  因此，神啊，我们祈求你，从花园里给我们些吃的，让我们可以充饥；也给我们些可以解渴的。

Now, therefore, O God, we pray Thee, give us something to eat from the garden, to satisfy our hunger with it; and something wherewith to quench our thirst.

 

19.  看啊，很多天，神啊，我们没吃也没喝，我们的身体已经干枯，体力已经耗损，因衰弱和哭泣，我们彻夜不眠。

For, behold, many days, O God, we have tasted nothing and drunk nothing, and our flesh is dried up, and our strength is wasted, and sleep is gone from our eyes from faintness and weeping.

 

20.  神啊，因对你的敬畏，我们根本不敢采集树上任何的果实。你已经在我们第一次犯罪的时候宽恕我们，没有让我们消亡。

Then, O God, we dare not gather aught of the fruit of trees, from fear of Thee. For when we transgressed at first Thou didst spare us, and didst not make us die.

 

21.  我们在心里想，如果没有神的命令，我们就吃了树的果实，这次他必毁灭我们，把我们从地上抹去。

But now, we thought in our hearts, if we eat of the fruit of trees, without God’s order, He will destroy us this time, and will wipe us off from the face of the earth.

 

22.  如果没有神的命令，我们就喝了这水，他必终止我们，把我们根除。

And if we drink of this water, without God’s order, He will make an end of us, and root us up at once.

 

23.  所以，神啊，我和夏娃来到这里，我们恳求你给我们花园里的果子，让我们得以充饥。

Now, therefore, O God, that I am come to this place with Eve, we beg Thou wilt give us of the fruit of the garden, that we may be satisfied with it.

 

24.  因为我们渴望这地上的果实，以及所有我们缺乏的东西。”

For we desire the fruit that is on the earth, and all else that we lack in it.”

 

既然地上的果实随手可得，为什么还求花园里的？为什么不直接求神允许他们吃地上的果实？因为神曾说过他们可以吃花园里的果子，还因为，地上所生长的都是动物的食物，而神的创造亚当和夏娃，最初只吃花园里属灵的食物。

 

第三十五章

 

神的回应。

God’s reply.

 

1.   神看着亚当，看着他的哭泣和呻吟，神的话语就临到他，对他说：

Then God looked again upon Adam and his weeping and groaning, and the Word of God came to him, and said unto him:

 

2.   “亚当啊，当你在我花园的时候，你不知道吃和喝；衰弱和痛苦；身体瘦弱和改变；不知道彻夜不眠。现在，自从你犯罪，来到这陌生的地，所有的磨难都降临到你身上。”

“O Adam, when thou was in My garden, thou knewest neither eating nor drinking; neither faintness nor suffering; neither Leanness of flesh, nor change; neither did sleep depart from thine eyes. But since thou transgressedst, and camest into this strange land, all these trails are come upon thee.”
