Pre-task preparations
1. Say a rhyme: What

I’ll see the stars.

2. 出示豌豆植物图片,讲解词汇。
T: Look at this plant. It has some green leaves.
3. 出示安徒生照片,呈现故事题目。
T: Do you know any stories about peas? Look at this man. Who’s he?
S1: He’s Andersen.
T: What stories did he write?
S2: He wrote “The emperor’s new clothes”, “The ugly duckling”...
T: Today we’ll read his story “The five peas”.
While-task procedures
1. 完整播放故事,整体了解故事内容。
T: What is the story about? What did the fifth pea want to do? What happened to the fifth pea at last?
2. 依次呈现故事前五幅图片,引导学生学习。
(1) Where did the five peas live?
(2) Who picked the pod? How did the five peas feel? Why were the peas excited?
(3) What did the boy say?
(4) What did the peas think?
3. 呈现例句,区分词义。
(1) another, the other
·I have two pens. One is blue, the other is red.
·I have many pens. One is blue, another is red.
(2) exciting, excited
·Was it an exciting match?
·Look! The excited reader is coming.
4. 判断句意,选词填空。

1. 出示故事前五幅图片,让学生听音标号。
2. 把学生分成小组,分角色朗读故事。

3. 呈现故事图片,让学生简单复述故事。

Pre-task preparations
1. Say a rhyme: What will you be?
2. 出示单词卡片,复习重点词汇。
T: Can you make sentences with these words? ( live, pick, pea, forever, excited, lazy, world )
3. 出示图片及重点词汇,引导学生复述故事。
(1) lived together, grow bigger and stronger, leave this pod, see the world
(2) grew bigger and bigger, picked the pod, excited
(3) took out of, make good bullets
(4) see the world, fly to the sun, only want to sleep, do something useful
(5) flew into the sky
While-task procedures
1. 呈现第六幅图片,引导学生观察场景,猜测五颗豌豆的最终命运。
T: Where would the peas go?
2. 播放第六幅图故事内容,将豌豆与图文连线,表述五颗豌豆的去向。
3. 播放第七幅图故事内容,回答下列问题。
(1) What was the matter with the girl? She was sick.
(2) What did she see out of her window? She saw a plant. The plant grew bigger and taller.
(3) What did she think of the plant? That pea plant was very strong. She wanted to do the same.
(4) How was the girl a few weeks later? She got well.
(5) Did the fifth pea’s dream come true? Yes. He helped the girl. He did something useful.
4. 填写句子,表述五颗豌豆的理想与最终命运。
(1) The first pea wanted to see the world, but he
(2) The second pea wanted to fly to the sun, but he fell into some water.
(3) The third and fourth peas wanted to sleep, but they fell into a yard, and two chickens ate them.
(4) The fifth pea wanted to do something useful, and he helped a sick girl!
Post-task activities
1. 出示故事图片,引导学生复述后两幅图内容。
2. 把学生分成小组,分角色朗读整个故事。

谓语不一般,
will加动原(动词原形)。
要变疑问句,
will放在主语前。
否定句,也不难,
will后面not添。
While-task procedures
1. 完整播放故事,判断故事内容。
(1) The five peas will live in a pod forever. ( F )
(2) The boy took the peas out and ate them. ( F )
(3) The third and fourth peas only wanted to sleep. ( T )
(4) The fifth pea grew into a plant with some green leaves. ( T )
(5) The girl tried to be as strong as the fifth pea. ( T )
2. 出示图片,问答呈现故事人物。
T: What are the bullets in the story? How many bullets are there in the pod?
3. 看图连线,表述五颗豌豆的理想与最终结局。

4. 排列句子,复述故事。
