大兴寨峡谷是指峒河上游的一段峡谷地带，因为自然风景优美，村寨民风民俗淳朴而受到人们的青睐，是吉首市及周边地区居民休闲娱乐的好去处。为了保证下游城市的用水需要，政府决定在大兴寨村附近修建一座水库，峡谷上游的部分村寨和风景将淹没在水下。

从2011年起，我就在大兴寨峡谷里行走，写了60多篇笔记，发布在我的博客上。现将这些笔记汇总，作为永恒的记忆。
