前两天从家去小屋的路上读着 Chopra Deepak 的著作“The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success”（七个灵性成功法则）一时被感动了，很受启发。所以发了微博极力推荐此书。有好些朋友们都对此感兴趣。我今天终于把全书读完了，觉得最后一段很精彩。想跟大家分享一下：

Everyone has a purpose in life... a unique gift or special talent to give to others.

And when we blend this unique talent with service to others, we experience the ecstasy and exultation of our own spirit, which is the ultimate goal of all goals.

每个人的生命中都有一个目的。。。一个独一无二的天赋和特别的天资能给予他人。

当我们把这独特的天赋和为别人服务的精神混合在一起时，我们会经历到自身心灵中的狂喜与大悦，这是所有一切目标的终极目标。

Dharma is a Sanskrit word that means "purpose in life."

Dharma 是梵文里的一个词意思是“人生目的。” 

“Dharma” 这个词在西方近代文化里被大家用的很混乱，有些人认为这词代表着业力，有些人觉得是因果报应，有些人认为是最终的业力等。我用“有道”授了一下：（佛教中的）达摩（指佛的教法，佛法，一切事物和现象）；（印度教的）法则。在“The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success”里，“Dharma”的意思作者很明确的表明了是“人生目的”。

The Law of Dharma says that we have taken manifestationin physical form to fulfill a purpose. The field of pure potentiality is divinity in its essence, and the divine takes human form to fulfill a purpose.

Dharma 法则 里说我们以采取表现物质形态来实现和满足一个目的。纯粹的潜伏性领域就是神性的本质，而且神以人类形体来实现一个目的。

According to this law, you have a unique talent and a unique way of expressing it. There is something that you can do better than anyone else in the whole world --- and for every unique talent and unique expression of that talent, there are also unique needs. When these needs are matched with the creative expression of your talent, that is the spark that creates affluence. Expressing your talents to fulfill needs creates unlimited wealth and abundance. 

依照这个法则，你拥有一个独一无二的天赋和一个独一无二的方式去展示它。有一些事情你能做得比这个世界里的任何一个人都要好 --- 属于你天赋里的每一种表达方式和每一个独特的天分都会有相对的独一无二的需求。当这些需求跟你创造性表达的天赋相配，那就是创造富裕的火花。用展现你的天赋来满足需求能创造出终极财富和充裕。

If you could start children right from the beginning with this thought, you'd see the effect it has on their lives. In fact, I did this with my own children. Again and again, I told them there was a reason why they were here, and they had to find out what that reason was for themselves. From the age of four years, they heard this. I also taught them to meditate when they were about the same age, and I told them, "I never, ever want you to worry about making a living. If you're unable to make a living when you grow up, I'll provide for you, so don't worry about that. I don't want you to focus on doing well in school. I don't want you to focus on getting the best grades or going to the best colleges. What I really want you to focus on is asking yourself how you can serve humanity, and asking yourself what your unique talents are. Because you have a unique talent that no one else has, and you have a special way of expressing that talent, and no one else has it." They ended up going to the best schools, getting the best grades, and even in college, they are unique in that they are financially self-sufficient, because they are focused on what they are here to give. This then, is the Law of Dharma.

如果你可以让孩子们从小就接受到这些想法的话，你会能看得到这对他们一生的影响。事实上，我就是这么教育我自己的孩子的。一次又一次的，我重复着他们来到这里是有原因的，和他们必须得自己去发掘这个原因。从他们四岁开始，他们就听到这些。我也在他们这个年龄段教会他们冥想，我跟他们说，“我永远，永远都不要你们去为了以后的生机而担忧。如果你长大后将不能养活自己的话，我将会继续抚养你们，所以不要担心这个。我不要你们专注于学业。我不要你们专注于在学校里取得最好的成绩，或者去最好的大学。我真正要你们专注于的事情是问问你们自己你怎么样才能为人类服务，与问问你们自己什么是你们独一无二的天赋。因为你们拥有别人都没有的独有天赋和才能。他们最终去了最好的学校，拿到最好的成绩，上了大学后，他们也很与众不同因为他们都是经济独立的孩子，这是因为他们专注于到底什么是他们能给予他人的。这，就是 Dharma 法则。

我读完了这教育方法很感动。其实是跟主流的教育方式逆行的，但是受这样教育的孩子会没有压力，生活得很充实。他们还会很快乐，因为永远都在做着自己最喜欢最有激情的事情。最重要的是孩子们能得到父母的支持与鼓励！

不给孩子们压力不等于他们就不会努力。而且让四岁的孩子去想“天生我材必有用”真的是很先进的教育方式。孩子们从小就学会如果为自己活着，如何能让自己快乐的生活，创造人生意义和价值。再加上第二个为全人类服务的意识也会从小培养，这样孩子们就不会变得自我为中心，自私和封闭。因为小小的年纪就会考虑到全人类的大家庭。这个问题我很惭愧，不是我会经常考虑的问题。所以在做以下练习时觉得力不从心，很笨拙，想不出什么让我特别兴奋，特别有创意的回答。http://www/uc/myshow/blog/misc/gif/E___7398ZH00SIGG.gifLaw of Dharma or Purpose in Life - 人生目的" TITLE="The Law of Dharma or Purpose in Life - 人生目的" />

Exercise:

Sit down and make a list of the answers to these two questions: Ask yourself, if money was no concern and you had all the time and money in the world, what would you do? If you would still do what you currently do, then you are in dharma, because you have passion for what you do --- you are expressing your unique talents. Then ask yourself: How am I best suited to serve humanity? Answer that question, and put it into practice.

练习：

坐下来列一个单子并且回答以下的两个问题：问你自己，如果金钱不是问题而你又有充足的时间的话，你会做什么？如果你还是会做你现在所做的事情，那么你已经在 dharma 里了（已经在做着你的“人生目的”），因为你对你所做的事情充满激情 --- 你正在展现着你独特的天赋。然后再问你自己：我怎么样才能最好的为人类服务呢？回答这问题，然后付诸实践。
