Robbie is a boy from N1, he is 4 years old. He loves animals very
much; he has many animal toys and always shares his animal toys
with his classmates. When we read at school, he will choose books
about animals. He talks a lot about animals at school. He knows
more animals than I do. Sometimes I learn animals in English from
him.

The peaches on campus are ripe. When we went
outside, we picked some peaches. The kids were so
excited. They washed their peaches and ate them except for Robbie.
He said he wanted a peach that was peeled.

Today, Robbie had after school art class. He shared his dinosaur
toys with his friends, and they talked about different dinosaur
species. Some dinosaurs are carnivores that only eat meat, some are
herbivores that only eat grass, and some are omnivores that eat
both. During that time, they were my teachers and I was very happy
to be their students

In the morning, Robbie came into the classroom and said, ’Nika, I
have had breakfast at home, I ate a sandwich and milk. I don’t want
to eat anymore at school.’ When he knew the breakfast for kids had
cake, jam and milk, he was so excited and he said, ’I want to eat
cake and jam, I love milk and I can drink another bottle of milk.’
At the end, Robbie had a great breakfast at school.
Robbie was very happy because he will have a big meal with his
family Saturday at noon. The big meal is to celebrate his little
brother’s first month of life. In the meantime, Robbie told Megan
that it was so hard for his Grandma to wash his clothes dirty from
dragon fruit juice, so to please not let him eat dragon fruit
anymore.

Today, Robbie’s mother brought his little brother to school. Robbie
was very happy, and he called all the teachers and his classmates
to come to see his little brother. He said, ’This is my brother, he
is sleeping now.’

During circle time, we talked about which animals can swim in
water. The kids could raise their hands if they knew the answer.
When the chosen kid said an animal that could swim in water,
Mirella would draw the animal on the white board. We had a
crocodile, hippo, penguin, snake, shark, and jellyfish on the
board. When it was Robbie’s turn to say the animal, he said a
walrus. Mirella told Robbie, ‘I cannot draw a walrus’, so she just
wrote the word walrus on the board. ‘I can help you draw a
walrus’, Robbie responded. So, at last, Robbie drew a walrus on the
board, and I think his walrus was very beautiful.

We had a water play day for Canada week today. After breakfast,
Robbie had his swimsuit on and took his water gun. First, he played
water in the pool for ten minutes. Second, he played the water
balls on the playground. When we ran out of the water balls, Robbie
told me he only broke two water balls and he wanted more. At last,
he participated in the game for boys and girls. He was in the boy’s
team, and he had to try his best to fill the bucket with an
absorbent sponge. It was so much fun and Robbie had a great time
today.

Everything
that happened in June was a beautiful memory. I took pictures of
him and recorded them to share with you.
