Winter is coming! There are so many leaves turning to yellow, it makes the kids sad. Do not be sad, come to our class, you will get a surprise.

       According our unit 《Beans》, English teacher Shavon asked the kids using the plastic bottle to plant the seeds. November 19th afternoon is warm and sunny day and we came outside to prepare planting the seeds. Because we already made a little book named 《How a Seeds Grows》, the kids knew how to do it, so the work became easy.

Shavon is helping the kids to get the soil and the seeds. 

After a weekend, the little seeds sprouted tiny shoots. It looked like a newborn baby.
 

However, that was enough to make the kids excited, and make them believe their seeds are growing with  magic power. At that time, they pay more attention to take care the little seeds. They watered and measured every day.

Shavon is helping the kids measuring and watering their seeds.

They came to see their plants whenever they had time. We knew they were waiting the little plants to grow bigger.

JK1s kids were happy, they share their joys with the teacher.

With  time passing by and the kids caring, the plants grew better and better. 

 Look, How wonderful they were! 

There was a funny way they measured their plants. That is they used how old the plant was: like it 3cm, they will call it 3 years old. Yes, the kids treat their plants as babies.

     Now our unit has ended, and Christmas is coming, we don’t have enough time to take care the plants. So we think the better way is sending the plants home with the measuring table. We believe the parents also want to share the joys of our plants growing.
