低幼儿童学语言，需要反复地重复同一个句型句式，逐渐地增加词汇量。这种低幼阅读材料在市场上很少见，因为很不容易写。如果把词汇量限制在一个很小的范围内，还要作家写出一个完整的故事，就相当于让杂技演员绑着手脚耍把戏。但是我做到了，我用心把这样的故事写出来了，那么也请家长用心给孩子们读。亲子阅读要侧重互动，边读边做游戏。就拿这本书做个例子（视频下面有英文原文）： 

 

 

故事前的致词：

To all adoptive and foster parents（献给天下所有的养父养母）：

The heart has enough room for everyone（心有足够的空间容下每一个人）;

may yours be filled with love and laughter（愿你们的心充满着爱和欢笑）. 

Little Joy is a sweet baby.

She smiles all the time.

 

Little Joy’s mother is a very happy new mom,

or almost very happy, except for one thing....

 

Little Joy never laughs,

no matter what people do to try to make her.

 

Mommy tickles Little Joy on her big toe.

Little Joy smiles, but does not laugh.

 

Mommy tickles Little Joy on her knee.

Little Joy smiles, but does not laugh.

 

Mommy tickles Little Joy on her palm.

Little Joy smiles, but does not laugh.

 

Mommy tickles Little Joy on her tummy.
