这回在图书馆里借了一本jump, frog, jump! 发现它跟我们以前读过的两本绘本,the napping house和by the light of the halloween moon有异曲同工之妙,句型里都含有大量重复的定语从句.
三本绘本的文本与音频随附,听熟了再给孩子念效果会更好.
1. The napping house

There’s a house, a napping house, where everyone is sleeping.
And in that house, there is a bed, a cozy bed, in the napping house, where everyone is sleeping.
And on that bed, there is a granny, a snoring granny, on a cozy bed, in the napping house, where everyone is sleeping.
And on that granny, there is a child, a dreaming child, on a snoring granny, on a cozy bed, in the napping house, where everyone is sleeping.
And on that child, there is a dog, a dozing dog, on a dreaming child, on a snoring granny, on a cozy bed, in the napping house, where everyone is sleeping.
And on that dog, there is a cat, a snoozing cat, on a dozing dog, on a dreaming child, on a snoring granny, on a cozy bed, in a napping house where everyone is sleeping.
And on that cat, there is a mouse, a slumbering mouse, on a snoozing cat, on a dozing dog, on a dreaming child, on a snoring granny, on a cozy bed, in a napping house where everyone is sleeping.
And on that mouse, there is a flea. Can it be a wakeful flea, on a slumbering mouse, on a dozing cat, on a snoozing dog, on a dreaming child, on a snoring granny, on a cozy bed, in a napping house where everyone is sleeping.
A wakeful flea, who bites the mouse, who scares the cat, who claws the dog, who thumps the child, who bumps the granny, who breaks the bed, in the napping house, where no one now is sleeping.

A toe, a lean and gleaming toe,
that taps a tune in the dead of night, by the light, by the light, by the silvery light of the Halloween moon,
A cat, a thin black wisp of a spying cat,
Who eyes the toe, that taps a tune in the dead of night, by the light, by the light, by the silvery light of the Halloween moon.
A witch, a watchful witch with streaming hair,
Who snatches the cat when he springs through the air to catch the toe, that taps a tune in the dead of night, by the light, by the light, by the silvery light of the Halloween moon.
A bat, a bungling bouncy breezy bat, who bumps the witch as she snatches the cat when he springs through the air to catch the toe, that taps a tune in the dead of night, by the light, by the light, by the silvery light of the Halloween moon.
A ghoul, a ghasty drooling graveyard ghoul, who swats at the bat, who bumps the witch as she snatches the cat when he springs through the air to catch the toe, that taps a tune in the dead of night, by the light, by the light, by the silvery light of the Halloween moon;
A ghost, a williwaw ghost, who trips the ghoul, who swats at the bat, who bumps the witch as she snatches the cat when he springs through the air to catch the toe, that taps a tune in the dead of night, by the light, by the light, by the silvery light of the Halloween moon;
A sprite, a grumpy grungy hobgoblin sprite,
Who bites the ghost, who trips the ghoul, who swats at the bat, who bumps the witch as she snatches the cat when he springs through the air to catch the toe, that taps a tune in the dead of night, by the light, by the light, by the silvery light of the Halloween moon;
A girl, a small bright slip of a smiling girl, who smacks the sprite, who bites the ghost, who trips the ghoul, who swats at the bat, who bumps the witch as she snatches the cat when he springs through the air to catch the toe, that taps a tune in the dead of night,
Oh, no, you don’t. that toe is mine.
by the light, by the light, by the silvery light of the Halloween moon;
