However, any delays or lack of response you may experience serve a useful purpose. Timing is so important, and for this reason alone, a wait is no bad thing. However, it is possible that a problem is currently hidden from view, which will need to be resolved before you can move forward. Someone may have got his or her wires crossed or a detail has been overlooked or even deliberately suppressed, so time spent leafing through the paperwork, so to speak, will be time well spent.
