Capricorn

You are sorting out your friends or rather I should say your real friends from the “fair weather” ones, and that is an ongoing process with Saturn here for a while. It’s likely that you will get a lesson in putting your trust in the wrong quarter (in order that you can see where you have misplaced your faith and belief).

After you’ve experienced what may be a painful or disappointing process of culling, you’ll be able to cement those connections who have passed the test and made the grade and show those people who do count how much that mean to you. There could be unkind rumors and conjecture this week about what you are doing or regarding a social connection and it’s important now to shore up a support group, as you may need more support from friends - or family - and their help or encouragement in the not too distant future.

Things are going to get complicated and very nebulous in your life before long, so you’ll need a sounding board (and a sympathetic ear) - and someone whom you can trust.

Both Neptune and Chiron go direct this week and this increases the chances of being misunderstood and your thoughts are confused and meaningless somehow – even to you. But if this continues unchecked you could develop low self esteem and go crazy taking course after course or other avenues of achievement in order to prove yourself to the world.

You are a very loyal and sincere sign and yet that might be called into question or people pre-judge you as superficial and that is hurtful and aggravating (and very unfair).

But even so, this may well be what prompts you to go “all out” to prove yourself or alternatively you can become the classic altruistic humanitarian and fight for the underdog and the dispossessed and disenfranchised.

The above are the longer term influences of these two planets (although likely to be evident this week as they change direction) but right now, you have Venus in your sign. The presence of the Goddess of Love will make you more charming and more attractive and you will be preening – and with great effect!
